Almost 1 month since procedure

It’s been almost a month & I still wear my chin strap sometimes at night. I still have a little bit of a double chin but it has improved big time. At first I didn’t even want anyone to see my profile but now I feel much better about it . I know they say the chin will continue to tighten over the next few months but I think this is the best that it’s gonna Get. The area is still a little sore when I massage it , I’m massaging a couple times a day. I’m glad that I chose to do Lipo instead of kybella.

It will definitely get better. I got my chin done by Dr Markmann the week of thanksgiving. I am almost 3 months out and it gets better everyday. I thought the same thing too.

I am reviewing lipo for my chin/neck area, too. How was the scarring of the incision sites.

I have a little scar under my chin the looks like a bump (a little bigger than a pimple)It’s not noticeable but I can feel it .

Day 9

Tori2294
My chin is still sore but only when I touch it. It’s still looking pretty good, not too much has changed since the first couple days. I am developing a few lumps but the doctor said this is normal and at this time it’s not noticeable, & I’m hoping that it stays that way. I have been massaging it a few times a day & still sleeping in my neck strap. I am currently satisfied with my results, hoping that it tightens up a little bit more but if it don’t it’s still better than before. I will post more pics at 3 weeks.

I think your pics so far look great! Can I ask, did you just have one incision under the chin, or did you have three incisions? (one under chin and one behind each ear) Thanks!

I only had the one incision under my chin.

Hang in there. I had chin lips in June 2017. So glad I did it!! I still had spots of swelling (that only I could feel) until October. I am so glad I did it. Wear the chin strap as much as you can as it will help everything heal nice and tight.

Thank u! so far I am happy with the results & I’m still sleeping in the chin strap. I’m hoping that it continues to get better over the next couple of months.

Day 5

Tori2294
It’s been 5 days since I’ve gotten the chin Lipo & My chin is now turning a yellowish color, but there is no major bruising. I assume that everything is going ok, still a little pain on my right side & I’m still kinda numb. I’m getting a little tired of wearing the chin wrap, I took a 10 minute break from it today. I was supposed to see the doctor today but due to an ice storm headed our way I had to reschedule. I see a bit of a difference, one of my friends said that I look younger, idk... Here’s a before Lipo pic vs today’s pic
