So...the fat directly under my chin is gone...however the fat on both sides of my chin is still there...my doctor said he thought all I needed was under the chin from one incision...however realized later that I would additional incisions near my ears to get a different angle and the additional fat...needless to say I’m scared to trust him or another doctor....so I haven’t gone back. It was almost this realization that I could potentially look worse....and I was so upset before...I don’t know if I want to go through it again

I still have excess skin and fat on either side of chin. The fat directly underneath chin is completely gone, but either side isn't. The skin has softened and doesn't feel as tight, however I'm not happy with how unnatural the results are. Hopefully my doctor can improve this.

Hi there, I was just looking at your pics. I think it looks great! I had mine done in september. I remember thinking, if it looks as good as it did on day three i would be so happy. And my doctor told me it would look better. Your 2nd day picture looks amazing! I think the skin you have underneath may just be scar tissue and will eventually heal up and tighten.. Kind of like your skin after a baby, no? Either way, from the front it looks amazing. And from the side pictures, you are probably being harder on yourself than anybody else would be. I bet everybody else just thinks, wow she looks good, i wonder if she lost weight. :) Also, if it helps, now i am obsessing about my lower neck. but again, i think we just think we are going to be this perfect version of ourselves, but we are our own harshest critic. Good luck and i hope you get to where you want to be :)

Was it smartlipo? I think it's best to use other methods there since it's highly visible area and you will end up with scar tissue no matter what.

Give yourself time to heal! It looks really good! lipo takes a significant amount of time to heal and each body is completely different.

I heard that it take almost a year to see the final result! just want to ask how big the incisions were?

I am going to be 6 weeks post op tomorrow…

I am going to be 6 weeks post op tomorrow and I am still not happy with my results. The lumps and hardness have softened with massaging...however there is still extra skin and or fat on either side of my chin that is not going away and I still have no jawline. It seems that the swelling has gone down permanently. There is still tightness when extending my head back, this shows my neck bands....my next appointment is April 17th. Hopefully there is something we can do to correct this.

I am in the same boat as you! Anxious to hear how your appointment went yesterday. What does your Doctor say about it? Does he/she feel the swelling will continue to heal?

Hi! How did the appointment go? Any new photos to share? And you used the garnement? Thanks!

I feel like I'm in the same boat. My chin looks lumpy and like there is a dip in the center. I think maybe my dr. missed fat, but then I'm scared to do anything more because it could always look worse. I wish I hadn't done it because now I'm so self conscious of how bad it looks.
