Still loving my results. I love that I’m not over done! My incision is healing very well. I feel 100% back to normal in the area as far as feeling and nerves. So happy I did it!

I am feeling great and loving my results! I took my compression off today (as suggested by my doctor). I have very very little bruising, and my swelling is minimal as well. I have had no pain at all today. I feel completely back to normal. I really have to say the only pain has been from the compression garment. It made my ears, head, and even my teeth hurt. Today was Christmas and it was a relief to have the compression off because I was able to enjoy the holiday and visit with family. I am really happy I did this instead of Kybella! I can post more about that if anyone is interested.

Day after procedure

Yesterday was the day of my procedure. I was awake and was only numbed with lidocaine with epinephrine. The procedure went great! I felt very little and Dr. Maggi and his team continued to ask if I was okay, which I was. He used a syringe technique.
My pain today is minimal I haven’t needed any medication at all, not even otc meds. It really just feels like heavy pressure in the area and that is due to the compression wrap. I had my first post op appointment and when Lisa (the nurse) removed my head warp I was ecstatic! My chin is a bit bulbous from swelling but that will soon dissipate. Overall my bruising and swelling is so slight (almost non existent). Dr.Maggi said this is due to the fact I was awake during the procedure. I can’t believe how fabulous my results were and I know it will continue to get better.

Dr. Maggi has been fabulous to work with. I chose him because out of all the offices with which I consulted he was the only doctor who personally examined me during my initial consultation. In the other offices I had a patient coordinator, or nurse relaying info to the doctor. I wouldn’t have spoken with the doctor performing my procedure until my pre op appointment; that didn’t make sense to me and didn’t make me feel comfortable. Dr. Maggi was very attentive and present the entire time. Also, the nurses were absolutely wonderful, professional, and even held my hand during my procedure (I had local anesthetic). Dr. Maggi even text me the evening of my procedure to check that everything was good and to see if I had any questions! I have yet to see the results of my procedure, as I am still in bandages (I will update later) but I feel confident in Dr. Maggi and his team and would highly recommend!
