It's been almost 4 months since I got my chin implant. Here's an update! Overall I'm pleased but don't think it made a huge difference. My smile looks nice (looked fine before!) but I still think I'm a little imbalanced when I have a neutral expression.

It's been a week now. Here are some photos.
Overall I am happy. I do think the front looks a little flat still. We'll see what happens as the implant settles in. It's still only been a week so we'll see. I was hoping for a little more of a curve.

Thanks! It's a small... it has 'wings' too. That's all I know, haha. I just trusted the Dr. would pick the right one for my face.

Also...when I had my Tummy Tuck...my Belly button was waaay off center. When i'd take a pic of it looking down. Later it all evened out. So musta been more swelling on one side than the other! I'm sure he got it centered!!! lol BTW....it looks good!

Hi I’m getting a chin implant on Monday. You and I have a similar profile. The doctor wanted to use a medium mittelman prejowlchin but I’ve seen some pics of confirm extended anatomical that I’m waffling. Do you have any idea what your surgeon used? By the way if you feel too flat projection wise I believe that a very small wafer or button implant can be slipped in once you’re healed from the initial procedure.

HI, I really am not sure what specifically he used. Maybe I should have asked. Haha. I'm not sure what those types are that you are referring to, sorry. I'm sure your surgeon will steer you in the right direction. Good to know about the additional implants if I'm too flat!

You do look great by the way. You’ll have to wait and see how it settles out. From what I understand, much better to err too small as the size can always be increased.

Yes...I can see that you would have liked a little larger. I think sometimes people are so upset getting a chin (when they really didn't need one to begin with!) that they freak out with their new look. So he errored on the side of doing 'small' so you wouldn't feel too 'different'. But yeah...I understand.

Looks a lot better, but I understand a teeny bit more projection, overall looks very natural and feminine. Front ways you look great too!

Had my surgery Thursday and today is Saturday.
I can report hardly any pain (woohoo!)
My swelling seems to be going down but I am still tight and have some soreness on the right side.
My chin seems to be a little flat still - after post-op I had that nice curve but it seems flatter now. Hopefully that's just the swelling? Trying not to jump to any conclusions before the swelling goes down more. I did my hair and makeup to get a better idea of what I will look like. Doc said I can take the bandage off on Monday :)
