I Had Custom Jaw Implants That Almost Killed Me

I had custom jaw implants that causes two more surgeries in one week, the first surgery the surgeon cut a vain ( sinus to top of aortic arch, ct scan) and caused damaged to the nerve, after I woke up the I couldn’t move half of my face, the surgeon ordered a cut scan and took me back to another surgery, he said that the packing he used to fix the vain damage was too big and caused pressure to the nerves. After the second surgery I went home and started bleeding heavy amount around 3-4 gallons of blood so I went to the ER, they stoped the bleeding but didn’t found any loose or missing stitches. I stayed for couple of days in a lot of pain and my face was about to explode, after the doctors ordered MRI, they found the the vessels were damaged too so I needed another Neuro surgery that has a lot of risks. After this surgery I feel better but I’m not sure if there is more blood clots, I’m going for another MRI tomorrow to see if there is any problem.

Now after the swelling is less I can see that the jaw is asymmetrical and I also believe that it was damaged or misplaced due to the hematoma and the bleeding that happened.

Now I’m asking if I want to remove it, am I going to face the same complications and risks?

I’m really scared if this implants will cause any problem in the future.

It’s good to mention that this was the second implants but the first wasn’t custom, it was three pieces implants for jaw and chin and it was so asymmetrical, but I didn’t have any complications the first time.

Thanks to everyone who will respond and give some of their experience!
