Implant was placed crookedly - high on left side & not along jawline

I went to Dr. Athre’s office to consult about chin augmentation. He told me what he’d recommend, then sent his assistant into the room to discuss price. She offered a very good quote, but said I needed to accept the quote before leaving the office or it would no longer be valid. She also told me “you need this procedure.” Like a fool, I accepted the offer.

Dr. Athre performed the procedure, but I noticed when I went home that the implant was placed crookedly, it was high on the left side and not along the jawline. When I returned to his office and explained, he touched it and said, “It will move into place on its own.”

It never did in the years since, and hurts to this day on that side.

Please learn from my mistake, and stay miles away from this doctor.
