Day of treatment
Night day of sugery
I couldn’t eat anything but ice cream and water. Chewing was painful. I also can’t sleep because I’m in pain. Also maybe because I’m not in my own bed. I’m slept but can’t get comfy. The only procedure that feels uncomfortable is my cheeks. I do have a headache also maybe that’s from he oxycodone

UPDATED FROM Gregory Grey
Day of treatment
Surgery was today
Submentoplasty, menoplasty, chin implant buccal fat removal and facial fat transfer.
Late night it was no food or drink after midnight (like a gremlin) and we explored downtown Princeton the day before which was awesome. We stayed directly across the street at Sonesta ES Suites Princeton and let me tell you it was fantastic. I had my own room and private bathroom and my friends had heir own private bedroom 2 beds and bathroom. That was convenient for me because I like it dark and quiet to sleep and they like the tv on. in the morning an hour before surgery I took one halcyon. They gave me two but advised against it saying I might or be able to make it out of the car.
I needed to be 15 minutes early for our appointment but because New Jersey has all these unfamiliar roundabouts my driver friend must of been nervous because she drove past 2 of them but we were still early because our hotel was so close.
When we arrived it was all the familiar faces. Everyone from the doctor to receptionist nurses and anesthesiologist called me the day before to remind me and ask If I had any questions. They took me back and had m change except underwear and put on a robe (much nicer than the smocks you get in hospital) and traction socks. I was provided it’s hipacleanse to wash my ace inch I Lao had freshly halved at one. I then met with the nurse an anesthesiologist and dr Robert and the attendant. We went into the operating room and there were pictures on the wall of my face from every possible angle. I was talking to nurses about my hometown while Dr Robert and his attendant wiped my face with alcohol so the marker could stick better as they drew what they were doing and next thing you know I’m out.
No I did wake p at the end of surgery as they were doing the buccal fat removal in my mouth. I’m certain it must of been on purpose but I didn’t remember being told about it. I want scared but I’m sure one might. I really said fascinating getting to watch Dr Glasgold work. I didn’t feel anything at first then he shot a little novocaine and it was fine. They finished he other cheek and wrapped my head in the bandage you see in the picture.
I was then taken back to the previous room where there was a nice chair waiting or me Woh a heating tube in it and some blankets. I know people can have adverse reactions to anesthesia but I’m usually ok. I told the nurse ow hungry I was and they provided me with water and the anesthesiologist had homemade snicker doodle which were soft and easy to eat considering my stitches in my mouth.
Dr Robert said I have to come back in tomorrow to get this bandage taken of because of my thick skin. So my friends and I booked another night in the fabulous skies and I’ll provide you with an update ASAP
