Thank you Girin - my nose, chin, and lips are proportioned better
ORIGINAL POST
Thank You Girin!
WORTH IT
After experiencing concerns about lacking of balance in my side profile my whole life, I decided to finally do something about it while I'm in South Korea for school as an exchange student. I've heard about how great plastic surgery technology is here already so I wanted to look into it and perhaps get the surgeries done before going back to the United States.
I was considering nose surgery at first and Googled about it for research. After Girin Plastic Surgery popped up on my Instagram feed, I took it as a sign to finally take that leap and I am thankful that I did. After getting in contact with them through Kakao, we set up an appointment for a consultation. They were promptly responding and I was surprised they had a whole team of people who speaks fluent English. I arrived at Girin on May 4th, not knowing what to expect, but I was greeted by Angela, a translator there, who was so helpful and made the whole process so much easier. We went into the consultation, Angela translating so I could understand everything.
It was then we came to the conclusion that getting a chin implant and chin lipo would balance out my face, rather than the rhinoplasty that I had wanted originally. I really liked that they knew what I actually needed rather than what I thought I did. I was surprised to realize that my nose wasn't the problem actually, my side profile could be improved by correcting my chin area so the nose, chin, and lips are proportioned better. Now I am grateful knowing that I could improve my face with much more simple procedures.
After I spoke with my surgeon Dr. Park, being able to ask him questions and him addressing my concerns, put me at ease so much. Being a foreigner in Korea and this being my first time doing plastic surgery, it was really great that they put so much care and effort into finding out what you really want, it was actually that effort that made me want to continue with Girin, so thank you!
