Chin Implant and Lipo for 24yr Old 130lbs
WORTH IT$9,399
I’ve had a horrendous hereditary double chin for as long as I can remember. I am ~130lbs now but even when I’ve gotten my weight down to 100lbs I’ve still had a pocket of fat under my chin and a weak jawline.
I’m so self conscious of it that I think about it literally all the time, I’m always trying to hide my face or stick out my lower jaw. Basically every time I look at photos that have been taken of me I would cry over how awful my double chin looked.
I’ve tried Kybella/belkya and coolsculpting and neither of them gave noticeable results.
I had my consult on Aug 29 and my surgery today (the 18th). I chose my surgeon based on his overwhelmingly positive (and actually authentic compared to some of his competitors) online reviews, many of them stated that he is a total perfectionist which sounded great to me!
Dr.Lee is very personable and clearly cares about his patient’s results. He had ordered multiple implants for the day of just in case a different size looked better. The front desk girl and the nurse who I talked to at my initial consult were both so sweet, both intimidatingly pretty but that’s to be expected at a plastic surgery office :p
My surgery went well, I woke up in a lot of pain but the meds made it go away pretty quickly. Just recovering at home now and I will update this post with my progress!
They took a photo of my chin as soon as it was implanted after the lipo which is what I included :) I will upload my after pic later on

Chin Night Of Surgery
It had only been ~8 hours since my surgery and my chin already looks better than it did before. The swelling is less volume than the fat I had there before if that makes sense. I’m so excited to see my final result once it heals :)

Hi, would you mind taking a picture of the incision?

2 week update
After my last post my neck started to get really swollen from the lipo, as expected. I looked like I had a goiter for about a week. It’s starting to go down now but definitely still pretty swollen, no bruising though.
For about 6 days I couldn’t talk very well because my whole bottom lip was numb (my implant was intra-oral) but now it’s almost back to normal.
I hope my actual chin doesn’t go down any more because I think it’s the perfect size right now, it doesn’t feel swollen so hopefully it’ll stay the same.
I’m excited to see my neck swelling go down more. I have my first follow-up appt with my surgeon tomorrow.
