47-year old female, 4 days post-op chin lift with implant

Great experience!! I am a 47-year old female and noticed these past years that I’ve been getting a flabby looking turkey neck. I missed the days of having a firm jawline. I read through these Real Self reviews and decided to select Dr Sitapara as my surgeon. He is amazing and I would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone wanting this procedure. My recovery has been fairly easy. I took a week off work and am certain that will be enough time. I’ll update my “after” photos for everyone.

Day 6 photo — a little uncomfortable but not unbearable. Also, a couple of recommendations: get Tums & stool softeners. The pain meds will likely constipate you, as I was. The Tums are for the evening after your surgery. I was nauseous and the Tums really helped calm my stomach.

Dr Sitapara’s staff were so helpful and kind to me. And Laurie (or Lauren, sorry I don’t remember) the surgery nurse at the SurgCenter in Silver Spring was wonderful. She took great care of me before and after the surgery.
