Like so many on here i have used this website for a long time reading so many stories and feel it has been the most resourceful in terms of real life surgery. I am booked in for 3 days time and thought it was only right to share my experience too. I had my first child when I was just 19 and gained about 4 stone, after I was left stretched and saggy. I have a further 2 children a bit later on in life both 9lb and although I didn't put on as much weight my stomach just grew massive. So this is me now, 5ft3 and 170lb, a lot heavier that I would like to be but gave up smoking and took on biscuits and cheese! I am booked in at The Nuffield Hospital with Mr Hurren. I had researched many surgeons and intended to have at least 3 consultations however once I met Jeremy I felt at ease, he examined me whilst talking through what he would suggest I had done, took some pics and drew me sketches of what he has talked about. As you can from the pics, I hold a lot of fat on my tummy area and waist. Mr Hurren has suggested lipo to flanks and upper tummy with the Tummy Tuck to get the best results. So I am now feeling really excited and nervous both for surgery and recovery. I will update as I go along and any tips on anything would be appreciated!

Yeah, i'm fine thanks, recovering well so far. I was really worried about pain after but it is totally doable and i've only had ibuprofen and paracetamol! Muscle repair hurts a lot if you sneeze, cough or laugh but other than that, its okay. Will upload some pictures later. Car Crane is on Amazon! With the manuka honey, go for the medical grade one as this has no bad bacteria in it! X

Well I am about 20 mins from surgery and feeling very relaxed and excited. All marked up and ready to go. I did decide last minute to have inner thighs done too...Why not. Looking and these photos just makes me feel what I am doing is such the right thing. Dreading the pain but it will be worth it!
