Best Chicago Tummy Tuck Surgeon
I’m in my early 30s and have not had kids. I had lost about 50 lbs, and while always wanted to lose more, was stable for a few years. I felt very disproportionate with my tummy that was both excess skin and extra fat that I always carried around my middle. I feel it’s worth saying because I had not seen a lot of TT reviews for women who were not at their “perfect” size (aka very thin other than excess abdominal skin) or who weren’t moms.
I went to see Dr Mustoe, one of 3 surgeons that I had consultations with. I can not recommend him enough. I got an extended TT and he CHANGED my life. My body, that I had almost given up on would always be disproportionate with my middle is transformed. While I’m still full figured, I remain shocked at how much more confident I feel and how incredible of a difference my outcome is at just a few months post op.
If you are researching doctors, please schedule a consult with Dr Mustoe ASAP. This is not a sweater you’re comparison shopping, hoping to get on clearance. This is your body — and your surgeon makes a difference. Not only is he RESPECTFUL and honest, he speaks to you with care and kindness — and that really matters when you’re discussing your own body and for me, my most personal insecurities that you have to be honest and open about. Dr Mustoe did not recommend abdominal muscle tightening for me because I haven’t had kids. Every other surgeon I had consults with said they would, but it would have greatly impacted my post op recovery and pain for negligible difference and I’m THRILLED with my outcome.
Beyond that, De Mustoe employs advanced techniques that comes with years of expertise — from twilight sedation to the way he sewed my incision helping to minimize scars or the need to pay hundreds more for embrace scar therapy.
I still have swelling that will go down over the next year, and I’m still seeing the doctor to monitor my scar as I’m a high risk scar patient. I’m thrilled with how my incision and tummy looks now, and can wear clothes that are proportionate to me. I wish I had done it sooner.
