Hi Guys,
So I am totally new to this site so please bare with me. I am 25 years old and recently lost about 60lbs. I have been over weight my whole life and I have NEVER worn a bikini in my life and to be honest, I never see myself doing so either. I am so on the edge. I want to get a tummy tuck and some lipo but I am so nervous and scared. I have a million things running in my head. Will I like the results? Is it worth the money? Will I have the stomach I always wanted? Will I get to wear a bikini this summer? I honestly have never been happy with my body and I am hoping that I can get some feed back from people that have went through the procedure. I am looking into getting the "no drains" tummy tuck so if anyone had that procedure done, I would love to hear from them. How was the pain? How did you like your results? What was your over all experience. Thanks for taking the time to read this......

Hello, congratulations on your weight loss. It's one of the hardest things to do. I understand never wearing a bikini as I had my son when I was 19 and that did it for my body. I have not had the procedure yet but have I'm scheduled for the 12th. I've been researching for years. You have to have realistic expectations and the best feedback you are going to get is from a plastic surgeon. You can have consults for free, and they should answer all of your questions and concerns. This site is great for answering personal experience questions and you can follow others and see there progress. Good luck hun! Hope I helped a little.

Thanks so much doll! This site is definitely amazing… I been literally stalking this website for months now and it seems like majority, if not all woman are very pleased with this decision…. I wish you the best of luck and keep us updated… are you having the "no drain" procedure done or the procedure with the drain?

I'm having the drain procedure...that's just how my Dr does it. Woke up with an awful cold today, praying this doesn't interfere with my surgery. Ugh!

You will be in my prayers!!! Emergen-c always seems to work for me! Good luck

I would recommend the no drain tt. I have a very weak stomach and couldn't handle emptying drains. Plus I was able to shower right away since i didnt have drains. Your questions about is it worth the money and the answer is YES! As for the pain, the first day/night was really hard but if you stay on top of your pain meds its manageable. My hubby set his alarm thru the night to give me my meds. On the third day the pain meds were making me sick so i switched to tylenol and ibuprofen rotating them but taking them on schedule. And the lipo I had hurt more than the tt! Good luck with your consults. I would recommend seeing Dr. Gutowski as he is a great surgeon and does amazing work. And he doesn't use drains!

Thank you so much on your feed back. I finally have surgery scheduled for March 26th. Dr. G recommend that I get a Brazilian Butt lift along with lipo and a tummy tuck. I am now so nervous as I am reading that it is not very possible to have both!! AHHHHHH this is just so hard.... How long was your recovery time? How soon where you able to return to work? Sorry about all the questions...better safe than sorry!

I return to work after a week and a half. I had my tt on a Tuesday and went back to work the following Thursday. I have a desk job so it wasn't that bad. And I liked that I only worked 2 days and then had the weekend to rest again. It worked out good for me. Good luck with your surgery. Your in good hands with Dr. G. I will follow your review and if you have any questions I will try to help you.

I really appreciate it. Do you have any suggestions on any things I should buy before my surgery? Stuff I should maybe eat that will cut recovery time shorter? I also have a desk job so maybe it wont be that bad?

I didn't buy anything before surgery. The only things I used were gauze and tape for the incision. For foods to help with recovery I ate lots of protein. Plus my hubby juiced for me.

Hi everyone, So I thought I had updated my review but I cant seem to find it! So I will try this again.... March 26th 2015 Dr. Gutowski changed my life. Let me give everyone a little insight on my journey. After years of being overweight, I went from being 220 pounds to 160 pounds. No matter how hard I worked out at the gym, my stomach was flabby and just looked horrible. A year of contemplating and praying for a solution, I finally decided to do my research to see if I can find a doctor to do a tummy tuck. One more year of watching videos of tummy tucks and reading testimonials on people who went through the same procedure, I gave up. I was so scared to go through with the procedure because the "drains" after surgery scared me. I had a million questions and I made consultations and I cancelled consultations. I was just terrified. Finally, I joined Realself and read about Dr. G. I read that he performed the tummy tuck with out the "drains." When I read that, I felt that finally my prayer has been answered. I set up a consultation and that is where my blessings came into play. When I went into my consultation, I met with Dr. G and his team partner KerryAnn (she is just an amazing person, she and Dr. G make the best partners). I showed him my stomach and told him how I felt. He immediately assured me that he could accomplish the results I was looking for. He told me he would do a little lipo in my back (since I had back rolls) and then he would do a tummy tuck. He gave me a price and we moved on. He asked me if I was planning on doing any more plastic surgery in the future and I told him that I also was not happy with my butt (I had the flattest butt ever) and he immediately said that the fat he lipoed out of the back he could put in my butt if I wanted. I wanted that done so bad but I was also on a budget and I told him that. He told me that the price that he told me would stay and I had nothing to worry about. Now, most surgeons want to make as much money as possible. I did not get that impression from Dr. G at all. He made me feel so comfortable with everything. I honest to God felt relieved to have met him.... After the consultation, I decided that he would be my doctor so we scheduled a day for surgery. My surgery date was scheduled 3 weeks after my consultation. Those three weeks were so nerve racking. I was a mess. When you go through a procedure like this, it is very normal to feel that way. KerryAnn, went above and beyond to make me feel less stressed about the situation. She prepared me the best way she could. I would get the most positive text messages all the way up to the day of surgery. I had never been so prepared for this surgery. The night before surgery, KerryAnn called me and we talked about everything. Her words of encouragement where exactly what I needed to hear before surgery. March 26th came and before I new it, I went under the knife. I was told that recovery would take at least a week or a week and half and I was able to go back to work. For me, day 3 I was walking upright. By day 4, I was feeling wonderful. By day 5, I was back at work. I was so shocked at how fast recovery was. I had a million questions, and Dr. G and KerryAnn where both a phone call, email or text away. No matter what time of day it was, Dr. G responded to his email. Sometimes, I would ask myself "does he even sleep?" I am 2 months post op and I honestly have never felt so good in my life. If anyone is having doubts about this procedure, or need help finding a doctor, please feel free to message me. I will personally send you my before and after pictures. I have NEVER shown my before pictures to anyone, not even family but I am willing to show them to whomever needs the support. I know how hard it is to decide on a doctor. Dr. G has changed my life and I am forever grateful for him. He is a true doctor that loves what he does. He doesn't do it for the money, I genuinely think he does it because he is passionate about it. He truly loves helping people. If anyone has any questions, comments or concerns please reach out to me. I am just a message away!
