Started tattoo removal 3/2012 with a second treatment 5/2012 and a third treatment 7/2012. Equipment at the Medical Center was not working for 9/2012 treatment and doctor didn't call back. I also became lazy to follow-up. Amazingly, tattoo is still fading beautifully. Save your money and give your skin time to heal between sessions. Successfully long term results requires patience. This tattoo was 13 years old when the removal process was initiated and had no color touch-ups after the skin was inked.

Also, are you planning on getting blasted again? Take care and happy fading :)

I'll probably have another session somewhere, someday. I'm not too hung up on it since I never see the tattoo. However, I assume there are ink deposits too large to be engulfed by macrophages so the fading will eventually dissipate and when that steady state hits, I'll participate in another laser light show!

Yes, I had my tenth session three months ago and I won't be going back for a year. I'm going to let nature do its thing and hopefully save me some $$$$$$$$ I'm glad that it worked out for you. Patience is a word that isn't often in my vocabulary but I'm learning from staying positive and keeping informed by others on this site. Thanks! aloha...k

Oh my gosh, how wonderful that to have confirmation from your review that the tattoo just continues to fade away...your results are incredible!! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the community! What kind of laser are you being treated with?

Thank you for your positive feedback - I appreciate it. The treatments were performed with a Alex TriVantage Candela lazer combined with a Zimmer skin cooling device. I didn't use the numbing cream before any treatment and I'm pretty sure I took a simple pain reliever pill while it was healing. Stayed out of the sun, didn't scratch/rub/pick at the scabs and definitely made sure the tattoo was moisturized during the healing phase.
