So I decided to get smart lipo on my flanks, upper and lower abdomen and back. I weighed 140 lbs 5'4. So far its been a week and I am very pleased. The swelling is going down and I massage every day softly with bio oil or cast or oil. I also take arnica and bromelain to help with the bruising. My doctor informed me of all the risks, what to expect after surgery etc. She specifically said not to allow any clothing to dent into my tummy or I could get a hard dark mark.
The day of surgery (Thurs 4-14-16) went smoothly. The procedure was done under local and I took a uber home. Dr. Casas put in drains and took them out that Saturday. She went in through my navel to do the upper and lower abs. Since the procedure I have constantly worn compression garments. The pain is worse if I don't put the compression garments back on. I only take them off to shower. I massage while in the shower and in the evening before I go to bed. I even massage with the garment on and off. I found a lymphatic massage video on you tube. I also put ice packs on and each day gets a little easier.
I still take daily my vitamins, bromelain, arnica cream, antibiotics, probiotics, pain pills. The first couple days the pain was bad. Today is day 7 and I'm just a little sore and the swelling is decreasing. After the procedure I got on the scale and I weighed 148. Before the procedure I weighed 140. My doctor said that she used 10 gallons of water, so thats why I had the extra pounds. I got on the scale today and I weighed 145, so I am losing more each day. I keep my salt and sugar intake very low. I will post some pictures in the next day or so.

I had my smart lipo done a day before you and you look amazing. I've been wearing my compression garments and epifoam which does leave indents. I'm still a little lumpy and a little bruised. But not to bad. I do take my garments off for a couple hours a day but that's it. I am 43 and have two kids and stretch marks so I guess I can't wish for the perfect belly. But I definitely feel better. Are you using scar cream on your incisions? If so, what are you using?

Only incision I had was in my back and its hardly visible. She went through my belly button to do the front. My bruises are bad on one side and I'm using arnica and a menthol rub.

I've been massaging and wearing my cg. I don't have a lot of lumps and bumps. Make sure not to wear those cinchers. Not good after lipo. Seems to make lumps from some of the reviews.
The pain is almost gone. A massage a couple of times a day for about 5 minutes very gently.
Trying to eat as clean as possible. She went through my navel so no scars on my belly. Love my doctor. She is a beast!!

You look great...I have been looking for someone that can do it with a local. I had a full yummy tuck done in the fall but did not get lipo. Now I have dog ears and want them smooth out with lipo. Do you have any idea what she charges for one area flanks would cost. Thanks

I only have the one on my back shown in the picture and its almost gone. No incisions at all on my belly.
