I became increasingly self conscious about my eyes. They were really aging me; and I developed hollows & wrinkles. I listen to Doctor Radio on the Sirrius station, and heard a program promoting off label uses for the under eye area. Additionally, I read and researched my doctor and procedure. In my case, Restylane injections were a terrible mistake

Thanks for your support & comment. I appreciate you reaching out. I've been so down about my appearance. I am now seeing Dr. George Kouris, his PA has been doing Forma to try and smooth out the lumpiness and half moons I have from the Hylenex to dissolve the Restylane--ugh, such a vicious circle. He's amazing, so kind & supportive. He's more of a reconstructive surgeon though, so I'm not sure if this will help. He wants to just give all of this time & do some cheek fillers in the fall... I dunno... very apprehensive.

I've had several Restylane injections in the hollows under my eyes. Several times I had quite a big bag (blister) develop on at least one side. The bag remained for several weeks even after the bruising was gone. I kept patient instead of seeking to dissolve it. I had read that using Hyaluronidase can sometimes be a nightmare causing lumpiness. The bag always smoothed out for me. The longest time it took was about two months! It was almost like it was more inflammation than the Restylane that caused my problem. How long did you wait it out till going to have it dissolved? I'm very sorry for your experience.

I only waited about 12 days, almost 3 weeks. I just felt I should try to dissolve it as quick as possible, so I'd have the best chance of returning to my pre-Restylane look. Since I've gotten it resolved however, I have creases & half moon swelling under my eyes. I wear glasses all the time & am so self conscious:( the new dr I'm seeing has his PA doing forma to try & smooth out the area; and wants me to wait until the fall. Then he suggests slight filler in both cheeks to give my eyes "a lift" He doesn't believe in tear trough injections. I'm really disappointed. I went to an ocular surgeon to get his opinion; and he felt I should just wait until the Restylane was completely gone and have a blepharoplasty. Was trying to avoid that...
I'm not really sure what to do. I prob should've waited as you suggested. The horrible trauma I had under the one eye is still a little dis colored. What an awful ordeal. Live & learn...

So sorry this didn't work out like you intended. You do look very bruised for just a simple injection. I think you should consider the C02 Resurfacing. I saw a well renowned dermatologist here at home and his nurse had done the resurfacing and she looked amazing. You don't have bags, you just need resurfacing, my little opinion :) Good luck! I know how you feel I felt like this prior to my surgery .
