Hi Carol,
Thank you for your prompt response. I can appreciate this as a sensitive matter on both ends. It is not my intention for my feedback to disconcert either of you ladies. Only after I had time to process our discussion from the post op appointment, closely review my Before & After result photos, look at the treated areas of my body clothed & nude; that I honestly penned and emailed my feedback.
I suppose I did not fully grasp in our last meeting that it was Dr. Vagotis’ expert opinion, that she didn’t think I could achieve further improvement in my arms and back bra roll because she had maximized my results in those areas. That being understood now, can only mean the results attained in those areas will simply be what they are as far as Elite Body Sculpture is concerned. I won’t press to discuss those any further.
I want to make certain I understand, as we did discuss the lack of results of my abdominals more, in the time I was there. I understand in your response, revision can be done, but I’m warned of my skin’s laxity after this revision which won’t look atheistically pleasing, correct? (I was forewarned this prior to my first procedure, so I do understand.)
However, I am unclear as to whether Dr Vagotis opinion is that my results were maximized by my first procedure, although my results don’t appear so? At any rate, I would like move forward in scheduling the revision for mid to late February or March 2018. I will give you a call in the office later this morning to look at availability.
Again, I thank you both for your professionalism in handling this delicate matter. It’s not easy for me as a patient to approach the issues of not being completely (or very closely) satisfied with service; especially services in which my body is the canvas. I appreciate both your candor and willingness at correction in this situation.
Thanks again, will speak soon.
Sincerely,

They reluctantly offered limited revision to my abdomen only. I was not going to trust them to do any further work on my body. I’m patiently saving for the procedures that I should hv had initially. Tummy tuck & aggressive lipo while I’m out/under. It will allow for better contouring and fat reduction. I’ve hAd a few consults awesome doctors from this forum. Basically I’m told they have to redo all the shoddy, half-assed lipo Dr Vagotis of EliteBodySculpture did. Out 27k. Plus new cost..I feel sick every time I think about it.

You might want to try Dr Zelko. He does a modified tummy tuck and tickle lipo--highly rated and runs good specials all the time.

No Tootie55, unfortunately it was not. I was very apprehensive about scheduling a revision and allowing the Dr to perform work on me again. Although it was not my intent, I know she felt insulted & I was just too disappointed with her work to subject myself to possibly a botched revision that can’t be fixed. Instead I did more research, had consultations with 2 more cosmetic surgeons regarding abdominoplasty and showed them the work & they were flabbergasted! To the point, they both offered me a deal of of sorts out of pity to do do EVERYTHING OVER that Dr Vagotis of EliteBodySculpture had jut done less than 8mons at that time

Holy Shucks! Im in a profession which allows me to see plenty of really good plastic surgery.
In my opinion, this doctor did NOT do the best thing for you. On the good side, your arms are definitely smaller, but in my opinion, she should have told you that she couldn’t come close to the results you wanted and referred you to someone who could. I’m sorry. That was a lot of money spent and I feel they should have done MUCH more to help make you happy and not try to blame you.
Glad you posted to help others avoid this kind of treatment. Good karma will come your way!

Dr. Vagotis,

Thank you for speaking with me during my six-month final follow-up appointment on Thursday, January 18th relating to the cosmetic procedures I had performed under your care at Elite Body Sculpture in July 2017. It has been a pleasure dealing with the Elite Body Sculpture team. The Chicago staff is professional in client service, as well as, patient care, and made me feel welcome each time I had a visit to the office. This is just one of the reasons I initially chose to have my procedures performed at Elite Body Sculpture; coupled with research, the testimonial Before & After photo’s on Instagram and the website. Results I’d seen achieved by other patients with similar body structures/types/problem areas coupled with our discussions on my expectations and your assessment as to what could be achieved lead me think Elite Body Sculpture was ideal to meet my desired outcome. Therefore,
I must respectfully disagree with your statement that my result expectations are unrealistic.

Firstly, I am very satisfied with the BBL procedure that was performed. It meets my expectations as to how I envisioned the final result, perfect!

During my 6-month appointment while taking photos, you made mention several times that “the hotdog is gone, but the bun is still there.” It was my expectation when I had the Back Bra Roll procedure performed, that the back fat —‘hotdog & bun’ would cease to be an issue. It was never my thought that I would still have any rows of fat after this procedure. Same goes for the Arm liposuction. My arms were the most important of my cosmetic procedures. While there is change, it is not what I believe to be optimal. I still have the appearance of ‘bat wings’.
There is no denying my arms are smaller, but again, I expected a leaner result.

Relating to the full abdomen procedure: At consultation, you asked me to suck in my stomach, and stated I had good muscle tone in my upper abs and could expect a good deal of flattening out in that area (noting that it was protruding). You said my mid to lower abdomen will have loose skin in the areas where stretch marks appear and I should expect sagging skin in those areas where the fat used to be. Which is why in the week preceding my procedures; I decided to add the expense of the ‘Tiny Tuck’ procedure to address the (some portions of) sagging skin issue of the lower abdomen. My expectations were to be rid of the ‘love handles’, the muffin top and to have a considerably flatter stomach as presented when I sucked it in. I never expected a tight, flat “wash-board” abdomen, I’m aware this was not abdominoplasty.
Dr. Vagotis, at the time you never said you thought my result expectations were unrealistic. Only now that those results were not attained am I hearing that I’m being unrealistic about my end goals.
Elite Body Sculpture markets itself as yielding top quality high end results, charging high end prices for that luxury and end result. There is a level of quality lacking in my results that do not match that high end price I invested in the cosmetic procedures performed by you at Elite Body Sculpture. While there is no doubt my body has changed, I rate the overall results as being less than stellar. I am simply disappointed, especially with the considerable amount I invested into these procedures.

After thoroughly looking over my Before and After photo’s and examining every area of my body that received treatment, I have concluded that revision to all areas that I initially invested in is the only reasonable attempt at resolving the issues I outlined.
Please let me know when we can move forward.

Kind Regards,

Angela Miller

The response:
Hi Angela,

We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us to communicate how you are currently feeling in regards to your results. I made sure to review this with Dr. Vagotis and we were taken back by your feedback because we felt we had reached a mutual agreement after your last appointment to ensure your satisfaction. To summarize your last visit, we agreed to do a revision on your abdomen because an improvement can be made with additional fat removal without compromising the elasticity of your skin. However, we discussed if more fat is taken out from the rest of the areas it will create more laxity and it won’t benefit you aesthetically. In Dr. Vagotis expert opinion, she doesn’t feel you can get further improvement in your arms and back bra roll because we have maximized your results in those areas. It is for this reason why we can’t do move forward with other revisions besides your abdomen. Please feel free to reach us at the office if you have any more questions or concerns.

Kind Regards,
