Almost 3 years post op!
WORTH IT
Been getting lots of messages lately on the procedure. I’ve been so incredibly happy with my results. I went from a 7cm forehead to a 5cm forehead. I had zero hair loss during the entire process. My hair is thick and my scar is barely visible. My results are optimal and I could not thank Dr Sidle enough for my beautiful results. If you’re thinking about going through with this procedure my best advice would be to trust the process. And there’s only so much Dr Sidle can do for each patient depending on scalp elasticity and hair integrity. My hair before the procedure was thick and healthy and it is the same way today. Luckily he was able to lower 2cm with my scalp elasticity. And yes I still have elasticity in my scalp. It’s like I never had surgery with how well everything recovered. I will attach photos to help those out who are pondering the thought of surgery! Next I’ll have him fix my nose lol;)

So happy!
Dr. Sidle is the best. He gave me exactly what I wanted and I am so happy with my results! Everything is healing wonderfully, (I'm also a fast healer) and I feel great! All I'm doing now is putting a scar gel on it twice a day. I am exactly three weeks post op!

It looks so good!! :D I have my consultation with Dr Sidle in October. Only thing I'm hesitant since I have a little bit of thinning at my hairline and am worried I would be at risk for shock loss...is your hair thinner at your hairline than the rest of your head? Wondering if I should be using rogaine or something before the surgery to strengthen my hairline and reduce risk of shock loss. Anything input on what you did to prepare for surgery would be very appreciated! And congrats on your great results:)
Dr. Sidle is so careful about the procedure I am sure you won't have shock hair loss. My hair is exactly the same as it was before surgery even by the hairline, everything was the same! Don't take rogaine because normally once you start taking that you won't be able to stop since your hair texture will change once you stop and go back to being "thin." I'm sure you don't wanna take rogaine forever so I wouldn't recommend that. I think you'll be fine with everything!! Maybe take some biotin for hair growth since it's natural but trust me he will take care of you!

You have great results. Did you find that your swelling travelled down your face as the days went on or was it more localized to the top 1/3 of your face?
It is traveling down my face but my forehead is still pretty swollen.

Wow! looks great! Even though I can't see the rest of your features, even just seeing the way it looks with your eyebrows it looks really flattering. The shape is so nice and your doctor did a really clean job. I look at hairline lowering pictures on the web a lot to compare shape and such and I love the way yours looks! Congratulations!!
