Over a year ago I had a consultation for a possible chin implant, and I am finally getting it done tomorrow along with a bi-lateral lower blepharoplasty. I am extremely nervous and anxious about the procedure. I like my chin when I smile, but when I'm not smiling my chin is very flat, also my chin dimples quite a bit which can make it look worse. The bags under my eyes are not horrible, but they have been puffy since I was a kid, I wear glasses often to try to hide my "tires" eyes. Im not looking to change how I look drastically, just proportion some things out on my face. I've been reading a lot of people expierences on this site, and I'm excited to share my experience with everyone!

Night of surgery!

The pain is A LOT more bearable then I thought it was going to be. My eyes and chin are a bit sore, but I haven't taken any pain meds yet, I'm hoping to pain doesn't get worse tomorrow. My face is pretty swollen, even my forehead, but still not as bad as I thought! So far so good :)

Day 3

Besides swelling, today I am feeling better, and my face doesn't feel as tight as it did. I'm still surprised at how easy the first few days are. My under eyes are EXTREMELY swollen still, but they feel less annoying then they have the past few days. My chin is tender where the incision is still but I can eat better then I've been able to, I think today is the biggest my chin has looked from swelling, and it's a lot smaller then I thought it was going to be. Can't wait for more swelling to go down!
