6 weeks + post op

Hey Ladies! I've been meaning to update for the past week. I went to my 6 week post op check up and my surgeon said everything looked great!! All of my incisions healed and I feel really good! I still have no sensation in my right boob and she said it might not come back. That's the side that took the longest to heal so I don't know if it will ever return.
I started working out a couple days before 6 weeks; the pounds were slowly coming on so I had to! I felt a little sore after the first day but I feel okay after my workouts now.
I went and got measured for a bra last Friday. I measured at 38dd. When I stepped in the dressing to get measured the girl asked me what size bra I had on. I told her I wasn't wearing a bra (I had on a dress with just a tank top underneath), she asked me why not. Then said well they sure are sitting up like you're wearing one. I said, and that's why I'm not wearing one. I ended up buying this pretty lacy black bra which cost me $36, and I just thought that smaller bras were cheaper!! Maybe it's because I was at Macy's; I'll go to other stores and look next time.
I hope everyone's healing is going well and everyone is enjoying their summer with smaller boobies! I know I am!!!

2nd post op appointment

Hello Ladies!!
I went to my 2nd post op appointment yesterday. My doctor removed all of my steri strips and removed some stitches that were "spitting out". My right breast is still giving me some trouble healing as you can see from the pics. She gave me sulfadiazine cream to aid with the healing; hopefully it helps!
She wants me to wear the surgical bra for another 3 weeks!!!!! OMG!!!!! I thought I was going to be able to go pretty bra shopping in a week!!! :-( She did say if I could find a sports bra that will give me the same support of my surgical bra then I can get one. I'm going to look for a couple tomorrow.
As far as the size and the look I am completely in love with my new boobs!!!!!
I don't have much pain or discomfort; yesterday I did have a little pain because of all of the touching and taking out the stitches. I had to take a pain pill last night. But today I'm fine.
I went back to work Monday and have been working half days all week. I'll work half days again next week.
I can't work out for another 3 weeks! That is killing me!!!! I never thought I would say this but I am so ready to get back into the gym!!!!!
I hope everyone's healing is going well!!!!

I cannot say enough that I LOVE my surgeon!!! She is amazing!!!!!! She was the only plastic surgeon I met with. I had my mammogram at University of Chicago hospital and since they accepted my insurance I chose to find my plastic surgeon thru them as well. Dr. Park is the assistant professor of surgery at the hospital, went to Johns Hopkins and did her residency and internship at Hopkins as well. So I knew she had to be good at what she does. I never saw any of her work beforehand either. A couple weeks before my surgery I started freaking out because i hadn't visited any other surgeons and I never saw any of her work. But I prayed about it and just felt like she was the right choice. And plus my mom's surgeon's name was Dr Park so I felt like it was meant to be! And it was!!! She did an excellent job!! She listened to me when I told her I still wanted boobs so don't make them too small and she knew it was important for me to keep nipples and not do a FNG and she did everything she could to make that happen!! Her staff is great as well! If anyone is in Chicago and looking for a plastic surgeon for their breast reduction I highly recommend visiting Dr Park!
