I visited this site a lot but did not create a profile etc because I did not know if I would follow through with the procedure (I was scared of the surgery). I finally did it yesterday. I took a look at the boobs this morning and knew I would be happy with them for the rest of my life :-)
Got in an hour before the procedure for lab test and registration and all that stuff. The nurse was absolutely amazing and she was so friendly and helpful. My biggest fear was the IV (always had problem with inserting that thing) But she did it smoothly and painless for me. By 10:30 (my appointment time) I went in for the surgery. The only thing I remember was that it was so warm and comfortable.
I woke up woozy, she helped me with some apple juice, took care of my vitals etc. We ended up chatting and I enjoyed her company very much.
Checked on by 12:00 Minimal pain, just very tired.
I'm able to move around, went bathroom (number 1 only) . But I spent most of my time sleeping. Today I'm still tired and the incisions are a bit sore, but nothing to be called pain. Never expect this BA so easy.
My stat: 5'3", weight about 125 pounds, 48 y/o My implants are 375 smooth round cohesive gel.
The boobs look so beautiful just in one day. I'm thrilled with this result. Can't believe that I actually have boobs now. Good bye to all push up bras and those silicon pads that I used to stuff my breasts in the past!

Now I know what it means by "morning boobs" Holy cow! The change from laying on bed to standing up on my feet! That is pain!
Boobs still look fabulous, the bra and the bandeaux that sits above the implants actually cause more pain but PS instructed not to take them off :-(
Wonder why I did not do this when I was in my 30s...

It gets better! Morning boob just becomes this weird tightness instead of pain. Bi am 1 month post and this morning was the very first time I woke up without morning boob! Don't know if it's gone for good but it doesn't really bother me that much.

Thanks Jenn, I have been sleeping pretty much all the time. I enjoy being drowsy and sleepy and falling asleep any time I want, hehehe

Minimal pain

Today is the third day, and I still feel somewhat surreal. Wow, I have boobs. I checked on them many times a day (like I was afraid they will disappear LOL).
The last Acetaminophen Codin 4 I took was last night at around 8. It's been over 24 hours I've gone without any pain med. Not that I don't have pain, but I think if I'm on pain med and don't feel the pain, I could over do and possibly ruin my result with complication.
I thought I would be down, unable to do anything with my arms, but surprisingly I can use my arms in full range motions. I have made pumpkin pie, Reuben and chili today for m family. Just do not like to lie in one place doing nothing.
Will be back to my PS for post op visit in 4 days, I'll post new photos by then. :-)
