I had my first consultation yesterday and feel...

i had my first consultation yesterday and feel very confident with the doctor and staff. he was a refferal from a friend and is called "the boob guy". i am 5'7 and about 125 pounds. right now im about a 32a, barley...we decided to go with 400cc high profile, silicone. which is as big as i can go because of the width of my chest. i have another consultation next week, alot closer to my house. so i will go and see what he has to say, even though right now i want to go with the first doctor, Dr. Wiesman in Chicago.

different consultation
well now i am confused, both doctors said different things as far as what they would put in me...one doctor said i could go 400cc at the most. this doctor said i could go 275, maaaybe 300cc. he said there would be no way to fit the 400 in me, especially under the muscle. other doctor was very confident that i could do that. so now i dont think i should go that big because he said they would be too high up on my chest.
the "fold" of my right breast is higher up which also makes things difficult because they are different sizes and can not fit as big of an implant in that one. so basically thats why i have to go on the smaller side.

Did they each tell you what your breast width is? I know that has a lot to do with it. I'm about 12cm and the ps I am going with uses mentor memory gel. I'm going silicone, under the muscle and because of my breast width I think the biggest I can go is a 400cc. I will find out for sure tomorrow when I fly to Miami for my in person consults. If you are confused I would schedule another consult with anyone reputable really even if you don't plan on going with them and see what they say for size. I would do it without telling the new surgeon what the other two said they could do for sizes. Also find out what brand and type of implant each surgeon uses. With this information and your breast width you get a good idea about what will fit. Of course there is more to it than that but it will give you a rough idea at least. Good luck!

yes we are so similar!!!! i have the same measurements and was told i could do 400cc max. so i want to do that in high profile. but now im thinking it might be too big on me, so maybe ill do 375 or something.

I know with the mentor (if I measured my width correctly) that 400cc is the max for me too. I think the 425's have a width of 12.6cm in high profile but I think I would have way too much side boob. I will be trying on the sizers tomorrow with 2 different surgeons so I will let you know what they tell me as well. When I get measured for bras they measure me at a 34b, however I think I am really a 32A. My band measurement is 28", bust is 30.5", and width is 12cm (I think). I will confirm measurements tomorrow and send you an update since we have similar builds. You are just a bit taller than I am. Good luck with everything! :)

thanks! thatd be awesome! i am going to schedule my surgery tomorrow i think! but yea i am 12cm and with the 400cc its 12.2cm which he said will fit me perfectly! good luck at your consults!!!!

I'm clearly not a doctor but I have been researching this for over 10 years and from what I understand you should pick an implant with roughly the same width aa your bwd. In that case the number of cc's you can get would depend on the profile. I'm at the airport now getting ready to go through security!

Ok so I chose my ps, put down my deposit and I'm booked for January 8th at 9:30am. Yay! My breast width is 11.7cm on one side and 11.9cm on the other. I'm going with 400cc mentor, smooth, round silicone. He recommended anywhere between 350cc's and 400cc. Since everyone says to go on the bigger side I chose the 400cc. Did you book your date?

awesome thats what my doctor recomended for me, cant decide if im doing 375 or 400....but i booked my date and put my deposit down!!!! january 19th!

Awesome! This is so exciting! We will be going in around the same time and getting about the same thing. I'm going 400cc because I will lose some by going under the muscle and I don't want "boob greed". If I go 400cc then I know that's as big as I can go and so boob greed won't be an option. Of course realistically you can go just about as big as you want but not without increased risk or them looking weird. Especially if you have no tissue left like I do.

yeaa good point l, i forgot you lose a little bit under the muscle. i probably will go with 400 then. 2 months, yayy!!!!!

I got 2 different size implants. I had the same issue with one of my (non-existent) folds being higher than the other, and one boob smaller than the other before getting my implants. I got silicone high profile, 350cc in one and 375cc in the other. You can't tell at all that they are different sizes! I was also only a 32A before too. I need to do an update.. I trusted my PS would pick the right sizes/style for me based on my wish pics and body type.

haha yes! You would never tell by looking at me though. I was just as shocked when I found out my bra size because I was hoping to be a full C! They definitely aren't what you would normally picture as a DD though.. I'm really happy with them! They are perfect. :) haha

my doctor said to pick a size i wanted to aim for...and he would take in a bunch of sizes during surgery...and would put in the biggest that he could for the range i wanted. But they don't really know how much stretching the breast tissue can handle until they're in surgery unfortunately.

I'm making my surgery date today too! Hopefully about mid January. They said they could get me in December 23, but I want to be past the holidays. I'm similar build. 5'3" 114lb. And measured 12.7/12.7 highest my PS recommended was 450cc maybe 475cc. I think I'll go with silicone moderate plus under the muscle. And I'm starting with a barely A so it should bring me to a D. My boobs were smaller than yours before and my PS got 400cc in me. You should have no problem getting those. I did under the muscle hp under the breast incision.

Oh well I look so much like you almost the same stats... my doctor also recommended 300cc for a "natural" look... i'll get mine done on Monday next week :)
