$10,000
I wrote about Doctor Ross about 4 or 5 months ago, and I saw him in October, 2013 and told him how disappointed I was with my facelift. He did some Botox for me and thought that would make me happy. I tried to explain I saw no improvement in my chin, how my bags were back under my eyes and scars that haven't healed and a bump on my left side that still hurts.
He promised things that he never kept, and even admitted he did not do a fat transfer in between my eyes He said I expected to much from this facelift surgery, but my opinion and others have said there was no improvement in my facelift surgery. I just wanted to let old and new patients know about Dr. Ross and my experience. I only want him to give me a apology of his mistakes and I am still waiting. I don't even care about the $10,000 I spent, its just not right what I went through. Also I went through so much pain. After surgery I had to go back to see him the next day and waited for hours for him to take care of me and I was so much in pain There just was a lot of suffering with no good results. Sincerely, Janet

Dr Ross and I met Nov 21, 2013 and we discussed my disappointments

Dr Ross really is a good surgeon and a good person, he does care how you feel and how you want to look. I expected to much from this facelift, and previously a less than a 100% positive review was unfair We talked at out visit and I understood my concerns about winkles were due to muscle contractions not my lift Dr Ross was going to do a fat transfer on my wrinkles between my brows but did not do it before the surgery, he said he probably should of have. What Dr admits that!. Hes helping me in many ways to make me happier by his free charge of visits. Going to see him in 2 weeks. I'M glad I had him for a Doctor.

Dr. Ross can be a bit on the arrogant side. He did my boobs in 2000 and they are still good, but I went back about 5 years later for some minor changes I wanted to discuss. He was very short with me and arrogant. I walked out feeling bad. I would never go back. What a dick.

After the surgery it was very painful and I had to stay at a hotel. It would of been better if I could of stood at a hospital or go home for the night. But otherwise I was treated very good by the doctor and the staff before and after my surgery The outcome of my surgery was disappointing. I really don't know what to say about the procedure than what I have said.

It's really too bad that after spending so much money and therefore looking forward to having a nice new look, that ultimately you feel the results are much less than expected. I know how you feel. Really I do. My surgeon in Toronto, Dr DuPere, also appeared to be very professional and a good guy. But that only lasted until he made an error, damaging the 7 th nerve. Then he was revealed as the most unethical surgeon. When I suggested that he could perhaps give me compensation, his response was "why don't I do your eyes , maybe in a year or so?" I hope that you will get tougher than I did, and take someone with you on your next consult, and demand refund so that you can go to someone more competent. I can't believe how proper some surgeons are, and yet how unethical others are. We need to get stronger with these guys and raise our expectations. At least your face can be improved, so that's the main thing. Perhaps if you feel okay about the results on your actual face, a neck lift might be in order to tighten the skin around your neck and jawline. Wishing you the best. Catherine Henry
No more surgeries Thanks for caring!

Thank you for sharing on RealSelf! I hope you're able to get this resolved to your satisfaction.

I have and I feel much better after he helped me !
Just remember think about doing a facelift, especially from Dr. Ross, hes a money maker and he gave me Botox after surgery to try to make me happy because I was so upset about my surgery. After surgery in July 2013, still In April 2014 my face does not look any better than before surgery. If anything I look worst, I have scars that are still on my eyelids and on the sides of my face. I learned my lesson, don't spend your money on a facelift, your beauty is inside. And these plastic surgeons don't really care if you look better, its the money they love. So think hard before you do any plastic surgery, especially face lifts. a Caring patient. Janet
Thanks!
Hello!!! It is normal to feel discomfort after a facelift. Each patient has a different experience due to their tolerance level to pain and if they are accustomed to taking pain medication normally. In this day and age, many procedures require only a half day stay and then they are released. The doctor will prescribe pain medication to assist with the discomfort.
