One week post 3x

Hi! Thought I'd post a couple of (not great) pics. I just did the second half of treatment 3 about a week ago. Still pretty slow goings, but definitely seeing improvement/lightening and everything is healing really well!

One week post 1tx

It's been one week since we did the first half of treatment 1 on my wrist.
It took the whole week for the blisters to go down (I didn't pop or pick), but they're finally all flattened out. Now, my wrist is just ITCHY!
I tried leaving it unbandaged over the weekend to give it some air, but that turned out to not be a very good idea, since it's my left wrist (I'm left handed) and a very "high traffic" area (cooking, cleaning, caring for pets, writing, playing guitar, etc) and I kept getting it dirty or bumping the blisters.
I've been bandaging with a gauze pad and self-adhesive wrap. I've been using A+D ointment as a protectant/moisturizer and Alocane (burn ointment) for itching and healing.
I think I'll only need to bandage one more day, and then I can go without and switch to a gentle fragrance-free lotion for moisture.
Trying to plan a beach day before doing the second half of my 1st treatment! I have a long-sleeve bathing suit...yes, I hate my tattoos that much.

Let me start by saying I have a lot of tattoos I...

Let me start by saying I have a lot of tattoos I am very unhappy with. I'm still deciding what to do about my arm (that's another story), but after much consideration, decided to start removal on my wrist.

I did a lot of research, including reading endless reviews on here (thanks, everyone...your reviews were so helpful!) and decided to go with Picosure.

I had my first treatment yesterday (7.19.17). For me, it hurt just slightly more than getting tattooed, but it was over so fast, it arguably hurt less than getting tattooed. It didn't really feel like hot rubber bands...more like many hot static shocks at once. It was totally bearable, and way easier than I expected. If you're scared it will hurt...it will, but only a tiny bit, so don't worry!

After treatment, I went home and went for a run, and took my bandage off to wash (following the tech's instructions to wash after exercise). I was AMAZED. After ONE treatment, half the color from the flower we treated was halfway gone! WHOA! (We have to do bottom and top of wrist in different treatments so i don't get a circle of pain/weird healing around my wrist). I was seriously AMAZED. Was not expecting fading after one treatment, but science is pretty cool.

The next day (today, 7.19.17) has been totally fine. I have some blistering, but it's not very painful. Maybe a bit itchy, and slightly achy, but overall I feel great.

I'll update more as I keep treating!
