But I found one sweet heart that was one of Shifirins patients that got me together. She informed me of everything I needed, what to expect and the process flow. So any question related to surgery, I'm willing to answer.

Thanks soo much! I'm glad your still here... I've been hearing abt stage 1 or stage 2 garments.. Is this something I hv to purchase.. Or is there anything you think I need or should know?

Dr Shifirin will provide you with the appropriate garmets. However, I needed some that were easy to get in and out of after my two week period passed so I purchased pieces that compressed the waist and belly but left the butt without compression. I purchased maybe two so that I could have clean ones on hand at all times. I found that the extensive lists posted online were way more than I needed. However, I did not get a tummy tuck and I did not have drains. Some of the things that were pivotal were of course help for the first two weeks because i have four small kids. Nutritious food with protein, Arnica gel, which helps with pain and bruising, bed pads due to the excessive draining, slip on dresses, and plenty of rest. Oh, and of course a very soft seat. I didn't sit for more than a month. And when I did, I purchased a memory foam seat from Amazon that I still use in my vehicle.

I got one professional massage in December. However, I massaged myself a lot after showers. But nothing major. I also got my husband to massage my back area at times. The massages are not included through Dr Shifirin. I noticed a lot of people saying that they were getting a million massages after the surgery. I didn't do any of that and I feel and look just fine. I think the most important thing is to eat properly, drinking your water and resting after surgery. Our bodies are amazing and heals and cleanses itself with proper nutrition.

I have maintained 43" since surgery. Many people talk about lots of swelling in the buttock area but I didn't have much swelling. I didn't have a lot of swelling or bruising. However my waist didn't shrink like some people say after surgery. My waist has also maintained at 30". I'm about to actively start losing weight so I'm not sure what it will go down to then. I'm currently 170 and will go down to 155, about 15lbs because I feel really heavy when running. Hope this helps!

You're going to look great. Just do all that you can now to become as healthy as possible. Like eating right so that your skin will snap back. And the recovery time shortened. Drink plenty of water and eat protein rich foods.

At first it was really too big! It's getting much better and dropping nicely. I was worried that it was going to be too much of a change. But it's toning down nicely. And I am thinking of loosing about 10lbs once the new year hits to give me some time to properly heal. I will do lots of strength training to maintain the booty vs tons of cardio. In your comment were u mentioning that you have lost weight since your surgery?

No I have not have mine yet, was suppose to have had it last year , am going in January

Lol my mom was asking me about you a week or so ago, but I told her I haven't logged on. I'm glad you're doing great! I haven't posted any pics. I feel almost fully recovered now-all my swelling has definitely left, no more numbness, my tummy feels tender/soft I'm going to need to work out my ab muscles.

I haven't been sitting at all, just laying around a lot and resting. Once my big kids go to school me and the babies rest and eat good. Hopefully that help the results stay successful.
