I am from the midwest area and I am traveling to Chevy Chase, MD to have a primary rhinoplasty surgery with Dr. Monte Harris. I am excited about this procedure and want to receive advice from previous rhinoplasty patients. I also want to share my experience. I am 25 years old and I have my fathers nose. I am a true daddies girl. LOL.

Hi BlackBaebieNoseJob, Can you let us know how it goes? When will you have your work done? I had my nose done about nine years ago by Dr. G. Tobias. I'm not happy with it because the tip is short, narrow, turned up and uneven, some what fake on the tip. I was looking for information on Dr. Harris for a revision. Good luck!! :))

Yes, I will definately let you see photos. I will take some in a few days to send to potential surgeons. My nose was flat (no bridge), very wide nostrils and a bullous tip. It looked somewhat like Patty Labelle and was too big for my face. Now the nostrils are some what narrower with a bridge (implant). But the tip... :((. The list from Angiemcc are very good questions. Maybe you can take pictures of faces that are close to yours in structure with nose shapes that you like, just to give the surgeon a better IDEA of what you would like. Don't be afraid to ask ask and ask more questions! I understand, it is a frightening situation. Just stay calm and let them know what you DO NOT WANT. Print pictures of noses that you don't like and TAKE THEM WITH YOU. If you feel unconfortable with him/her then run (like someone wrote) like the win!!!! :))). Is this your nose on the profile picture?

Dr Harris is an amazing person and has a God given talent to help restore a patients confidence. I was really nervous but bag snob let me know it's not as painful as everyone expects.

Hi Triny, I am getting nervous now, my surgery is less than two weeks away. Last night I was thinking do I really want to go thru with this? What if my results go unnoticed, and I wasted my 9k? What if I communicate the wrong description with the Dr? Traveling from out of state makes things a little frightening. But my monthly horoscope says if I want to change something about "how others view me" go for it within the next 4 weeks. Strange huh ?

I do understand how you feel. i will be thinking of you on that day! I was the same way and traveled from Europe to the US. Did Mr. Harris do computer imaging for you? The few reviews I've found about his work was very positive. Please don't think about what others will notice or think. Just do it for yourself. Get those pictures of what you would like your nose to look close too (just for Dr. Harris to have an idea). How can I send you a pictue without it being seen on this site?? I'm kinda new here. :))

When you get a chance can u please post before/afters even if u block out the rest of your face and just show your nose will be fine.I am on the fence and was seriously considering him and am trying to find every bit of info,pics,etc that i can.Thanks.
