Wow!!! And he even gave you sills, half of mine were cut off and pulled down. It makes for a less wide nose when you smile! Not that it was wide before. Do you see it too? Fabulous!!
Yes! I did notice that! I thought to mention but then didn't. I've read a lot of reviews where people feel their noses end of wider but for me it does flare less actually now. Which works for me! Though does come with a price, there is a lot of tightness in that area right under the nose but hoping that eases with time.

Wow that is very interesting. My sills were cut off with my lip lift. I had a muscle hemming lip lift and always thought it had to do with that specific technique. I was told that sills cannot be recreated but it is good to see that maybe there is a solution after all.

After 1 month

Once all the swelling in the favs was gone I could really start to see the result and am very happy with it. Not only is the distance shorter but lip turned up dramatically and faces out instead of down. That I suppose is to be expected but not something I had put much thought into because I was so focused on the distance alone. Very happy with that.
The scar at 1 month for me is more visible than I thought it would be and do have some tingling and stinging in the incision area, but it's still worth it for the major improvement. I visited Dr. Spiegel for a follow up and he did assure both will resolve given more time.
Comparison photos are of before and approx one month after...

Thanks for posting the pics of your full smile before and after. My smile doesn't look much different either and I had hoped it would but I think orthodontia is the only thing that will help that issue
What is your philtrum measurement now?
Hi can you post updated photos as to how things have healed years after you had this procedure and your thoughts on how you feel about the results.
yes please post another photo. I'm in the area and am having a hard time finding a doctor who's work I really like. Yours is good, so I'd like to see the end result.

First week of recovery

There was a lot of swelling in the lip, nose and cheeks. After the 4th or 5th day the swelling dissipated in those areas and settled into lower jaw prob for another 4 to 5 days. Overall not much pain after really the second day though.
