Absolutely WONDERFUL Results and Wish I Did This 20 Years Ago!!!

I was referred to Dr. Prada and his team by a family member that encouraged me to do this for myself. I initially went to speak with him regarding Breast Reduction surgery only. I'm 50 years old and have had large breasts since I was 15 (36DDD). My self confidence has always been impacted by my large breast size. It limited the clothes I could wear (no bikini tops, sun dresses, off the shoulder items etc.). I can't tell you how many times my husband has gone clothes shopping with me and brought a beautiful dress to me and I sat and cried in the changing room because of my sagging breasts or that I couldn't even get the garment past my shoulders.
So my consultation with my husband and Dr Prada was excellent. I brought into this discussion concerns with a strong family history of breast cancer and wanting to improve my ability to detect by reducing the amount of breast tissue I had. I have had multiple mammograms come back that I needed an additional ultrasound as there were "suspicious" spots they needed a further look at due to the amount and density of my breast tissue.
We talked through what results I should expect and also came to the decision to have a "Tummy Tuck" while I was having the breast reduction. I recently had lost 40lbs and he was honest and up front on what I could and could not achieve through exercise to improve my abdominal appears on my own.
His team and staff were highly professional and his Nurse "Tracy" has been a valuable asset to me throughout the entire process. My consultation with Tracy prior to the procedure was thorough and prepared me for what to expect related to pain, self care, limitations and how to achieve the best results afterwards.
I am now two and half weeks post surgery. This has improved my self image so much my ONLY regret is that I did not do this 20 years earlier. I think of the decades that have passed with me feeling self conscience and honestly "Not Pretty" some days just because of my cup size. Also...to be honest to any ladies around my age (50) I was worried about what growing old and my breasts continuing to increase in size meant for me. I already suffered from back pain, rails in my shoulders from my bra straps and limitations on some physical activities.
When you stop to think of the cost of "Cosmetic Surgery" and the perspective some people have that this may be a "Vanity" decision......there is no question that every single penny was worth this. It was a reasonable cost to make me feel better about myself in improve my way of living. I'm excited for living the rest of my life feeling this good about myself. My husband is also incredibly (emotionally) impacted by how good I feel about myself.
Dr Prada even made himself available to me by phone in the middle of his 4th of July celebration to call me about a concern I had. He and his team are exceptional. I cannot say enough good things about this experience and the results.
I literally want to share my experience with other women my age (or younger!) struggling with making the decision "Is this worth it? Should I invest this amount of money for something for me?". Find a way to make it happen...it will change you!!
Great team, great results.....I can't wait to get through my healing period and start doing things I haven't been able to before!
