21 Years Old, Breasts out of Proportion to my Body and a Complete Lack of Confidence - Chester, GB

Since I was about 14 I had major confidence issues with my breasts as they were quite large for my size and very droopy, particularly for my age. As I got older these issues became a major part of my life as I couldn't even go shopping without getting upset as they did not fit in any of my clothes and I was incredibly bothered by the size, shape and look of them. I felt severely embarrassed by them and this resulted in me becoming very depressed about the way that I looked. I did not particularly suffer from physical side effects of big breasts, however the emotional effects it had on me and the way I viewed myself were becoming increasingly worse. It took me a while to even broach the topic of a breast reduction as I felt it was quite a sensitive topic and I was not willing to show anyone my breasts, however it was the best decision I have ever made. Having the breast reduction has completely changed my life and I feel like I already have my confidence back and it has only been eight weeks after the procedure. The scarring is already so much fainter than I thought it would be and I am so incredibly happy with the new shape, size and look of them. The actual healing process itself was incredibly pain free which completely shocked me as I thought I would be in a lot of pain! The best way to describe it is an uncomfortable feeling on your chest, however I did not need to use any of the painkillers given to me by the hospital. I can finally wear the clothes I have always wanted to wear and I feel like it has given me the motivation to go back to the gym and get fit as I now have my body shape back. I am so happy I have had this done at my age as I feel like I have the rest of my life to enjoy them and couldn't have continued the way that I was as I felt so low about my body image.
