Thanks for sharing! I am in Denver, look about the same pre-op as you and have narrowed down the surgeons for consults (I literally just finished breastfeeding this week) and have noticed a lot of RealSelf girls used Dr. Squires and they always look great!

So I had a consult with a Dr. Vath in Golden, who said I needed a lift (you and I are pretty similar starting out). Did Dr. Squires suggest this at all and then leave it up to you? I'm curious because yours look SO perky and great and you did not get a lift. I am scheduled with Squires in April (he's a busy guy!) and want to do what will get me the best results, but why the difference in professional opinion? Just wondering what Squires said to you regarding a lift/no lift. Thanks!
Hi there! I actually had a consult with another surgeon and she told me to get a lift, but I wanted another opinion, plus I did not want all the scars being so young and my first job. So I had consult with Dr. squires whom I felt way more comfortable with anyways. With the goal I wanted and silicone implants, he said I did not need a lift. I had the option to get one IF I wanted them more perky and higher, but I wanted more natural and not high profile fake look. Plus the less scars the better :) IF I need a lift later in life or maybe after kids,then I will get one. You should tell Dr. Squires I referred you! They have an awesome referral program;)

Dr. Squires did a phenomenal job on my breast augmentation surgery!! I couldn't be more pleased!!
I had nice natural breasts in my 20's, I'm now 32yrs old, and gravity kicked in as well as some weight loss, my natural breasts then deflated. I wore padded bras everyday.
After researching a lot about breast augmentations online, and having a few consultations with a few doctors, my final consult was with Dr. Squires! He is very professional, gentle, confident, very nice, honest & he made me feel VERY comfortable, I didn't feel rushed, I didn't feel like "just another patient" or "sale". Both the nurse in the room and Dr.Squires took the time to answer all my questions I had ( and I had a lot! Ha!)
I booked my surgery for a month out. And in between that time, I emailed the office staff giving them more photos I liked, and asked some pre surgery questions. The office staff was VERY friendly and responded back quickly! I loved how they took time out of their busy day to respond so quickly to my emails. I even asked to come back in for another sizing consult, because I was being a little indecisive. Dr.Squires and the nurse sat down with me again and went over sizing. I couldn't stress enough to Dr.Squires that I work-out ALOT, and wanted to make sure my size implants would not get in the way of my workouts. I told him to do what he does best, I trusted him. And he picked the perfect implant and size for me & my body! He LISTENED to every word I said, and it showed in his FANTASTIC work!
I was nervous the morning of my surgery, but after meeting with the friendly surgery staff, and having Dr.Squires hold my hand as I fell asleep, I knew I was in great hands!
I LOVED my new breasts the day of the surgery! I was VERY surprised on how amazing they looked right away! I didn't have to wait weeks or months for them to "drop" or finally start to "look good later" No, they looked perfect straight away! AMAZING!!. They are PERFECT size, they are exactly what I wanted! Oh and my scars are minimal to non-existent and its only been 3 weeks! My new breasts have given me a boost of confidence! No more padding, I can't wait for summer dresses and bathing suits! I am showing anyone and everyone my before and after photos!! He did an AMAZING JOB!!
Dr. Squires & his professional staff met all my expectations and then some!! I would highly recommend Dr. Squires Clinic to anyone thinking about enhancing their beauty with all of the services they provide!

What an amazing comparison between your before and after photos. You look great! How was your recovery the first week or so? How long did your doctor suggest you wait until working out again? Thank you for sharing your story on RealSelf!
Thank you so much ! I am very pleased with them!! I was up and about the afternoon I got home from surgery, first week I slept, iced, walked around house. I bruised on my sides/ribs more than usual so that hurt, but the actual implants and breast didn't hurt. I loved wearing that tight sports bra they give you, that really helps them hold nicely to your body, so it doesn't hurt. I will start gentle workouts at 6-8 weeks. I'm sure I can do lower body/walks on treadmill now, but I haven't yet :) I work out so much that it's nice to take a break and heal!:) tThank you for the comment! Hope this helped
Yes, this is wonderful and helpful information for other women like yourself researching a breast aug. Feel free to put some of these details in your next review update. I am happy to hear you are taking a break from working out. Perhaps I'm old fashioned but I firmly believe your body needs some rest to heal from surgery. Glad you're liking your results. It only gets better over time!
