My husband says he's an artist! Going back for a tummy tuck next week. I have never wen applied. I highly recommend and I can't wait to see my next surgery results. Thanks for everything DR squires.
I have wanted to get a breast augmentation since I was a teen. I was a an A (maybe small b) for my younger years. When I breastfed both my kids, I got I’m to a D. 2.5 years ago I told My self that I I lost my baby weight and could get down to my wedding weight I would reward myself with boobs! It finally happened during COVID! I booked my consultation in July and decided to for this first available opening in September! At the consultation, I learned that my nipples are widely space apart. So the doc suggested a wide base, moderate + profile. No lift needed. I was somewhat hoping for a full profile to get there perkiness back, but I trusted my doctor and knew he would pick the best look for my body. I don’t want off center boobs! He did prepare me, however, that I would likely get some side boob! L It my consultation they had me try on 375, 400 and 425. I liked the look of 400, but the nurses reminded Me they would look smaller when compressed under the muscle. So, for that reason knocked the 425s were wha tee picked. He did say that one bread fold was lower than the other so I might need 400 in one and 425 in the other! Updated on 4 Sep 2020: 2 days before surgery I had a COVID test done and had to remain isolated before surgery. Surgery was scheduled for 2:30 pm at a local medical center. I couldn’t anything since 11 pm the night before , so I was kids hungry. . The people there were so kind. They wheeled me back and put me to sleep. Next thing I knew, I was waking up in recovery! At first the doc said I would need 2 different sizes, but he ended up being able to make 425 smooth moderate+ under muscle in each. I am currently wearing the surgical bra and compression strap night and day! I felt fine going home that evening. I was in very minimal pain from the lovely drugs they gave me at the surgery center.. I even slept though the night! That was somewhat reprising since I don’t back sleep often! I didn’t peel the bra or strap off that first day. To see what they looked like. Too scared. And it was almost bedtime. Updated on 5 Sep 2020: Current stats: Pre BA - 30c or 32b Height 5’2” Weight 114 lbs Breastfed 2 kids (age 4&6) Day 1 post op - I was still super loopy on the pain medication and anesthesia. I had one of my friends drive me to my post-op appointment downtown since I was in no condition to drive. They instructed me on how to properly do breast massage 3x a day, pulled off my gauze and sent me on my way. As far as meds go, I was alternating Tylenol and Advil around the clock, in addition to muscle and nerve relaxers. Between those 4, the pain was tolerable and I didn’t feel the need to take the narcotic. I also had 0 nausea! I had the patch behind my ear but never needed the additionally prescribed nausea meds. I also had 0 sense of an appetite. The doc wanted me on my feet often getting my own food, water and ice packs. But other than that I just hung out in bed with frozen peas on my chest and slept. The meds made me drowsy, dizzy, and gave me double vision. I also had an insane amount of bloating from the IV and meds. I was not expecting that. I’ve never seen my belly that bloated, aside from pregnancy, before! Sheesh! I can’t wait for the upper swelling to disappear! Updated on 5 Sep 2020: Still keeping up on the med cycle of every 3 hours rotating out the drugs. I still haven’t needed the heavy narcotic. I’m also still taking arnica and bromeliad to try and help versing and swelling. The only bruising I’ve seen so far is in the cleavage area. Other than that. Things look pretty good. Just super, crazy swollen. I’m thankful I bought the bed wedge. I am such a poor back sleeper, but it is helping some. However I am officially stir crazy. I can’t type on my phone due to the double vision and that makes watching TV hard, too. So mostly I just rotate napping and icing. Still don’t have an appetite. Updated on 5 Sep 2020: Officially off all prescriptions and am just taking Tylenol and Advil. Still icing with bags of peas on a regular basis, hoping that the swelling will go down a little bit each day. I did get some minor bruising today. Overall the pain isn’t nearly as bad as I had thought it would be. I’ve got pretty full range of motion back, too. I took my first shower and washed my own hair. That felt super good. Yesterday my emotions were all over the place but they seem more in check now. I’m still thrilled I did this and I can’t wait for them to hit dream boob status and to get soft, bouncy and squishy. I hope the next 3 months pass by pretty quickly. Updated on 6 Sep 2020: I am a stomach sleeper and this whole sleeping on my back thing is KILLING me. I can’t wait for permission to at least sleep on my side. I think I only slept about 2 hours last night because I was soooooo uncomfortable. Today was the first day I really started to feel more normal and not as exhausted. Since I had been off pain meds for 2 days I felt safe to drive and run errands around town. After a few hours, though, my body let me know it needed some rest and I took a nap. I’m still cycling Bromellian, Arnica, Tylenol and Advil but am in very minimal pain. I feel like I have almost full range of motion of my arms etc. I’m also beginning to get feeling back in some spots that were numb. However, I can tell the skin is stretching big time and it feels like the implant is going to literally rip through my skin. I started reapplying palmers again to hopefully help out with the stretching. I was doing that for several weeks prior to surgery, too. Fingers crossed we can avoid stretch marks! I also started noticing less swelling up top and a little bit of dropping! I’ve been wearing the surgical bra and compression band 24/7 but will be so excited when I can move into a regular sports bra. I am also doing the massage 3-4x day. Finally, I spent some time trying on some of my swimsuits and shirts to see how they look with the new additions. So far, I’m pretty pleased! Updated on 7 Sep 2020: I woke up feeling amazing after a good night of sleep, but about an hour into moving around today I felt the effects of pushing it too hard yesterday. I took a 2-hour nap this morning and still felt exhausted. I kept cycling Tylenol and Advil today to help with the muscle soreness. I am also continuing with Palmers to soften the skin and help with the stretch. I have my 1 week appointment tomorrow morning! Each day they are looking better and better! Updated on 9 Sep 2020: It’s officially been a week since surgery! My tapes are removed and I have started using biocorneum for my scars. I have very minimal pain - just occasional tightness and weird nerve sensations. Every so often I take Advil, but most of the time I’m good to go. I’ve been making sure to go to bed early, which is hard for me, but I’m feeling pretty good! Still waiting for the girls to drop as they are riding quite high on my chest. Tomorrow is my first day back at in-person work since March! I wanted fuller results but not super huge or crazy noticeable... i work with quite a few men and I’m starting to panic that they look huge and will be super obvious! Before surgery I measured a 30c and am now measuring a 30dd. Curious if you all think they look to big for my frame. I weigh 115 lbs and am 5’2”. Updated on 16 Sep 2020: Well, I’ve officially it the 2 week mark! My energy levels are still lower than usual, but they seem to be getting closer to normal. For the past several days I have been getting a tightness (like a spasm) in my pectoral muscles. It usually happens mid afternoon - evening. Especially if I have been using my arms a lot that day. The muscle tenses right under my armpit and won’t loosen up. I’ve been going to bed early to try and give the muscles some time to relax and rest. I think the continuing tightness is keeping the implant from dropping into the pocket quite yet. Still doing my massage 3x a day with plenty of movement and swelling is going down. I’m also having a crazy hard time trying to find bras that are tight enough (I’m 28” or 30” band) but have a big enough cup (DD-DDD). If the band is too loose I can feel myself slouching and hunching. So many places don’t allow you to try things on and it’s making it super hard to find a good fit. I tried target and VS without any luck. I got a couple of bras at Aerie but I can tell I need to return them because they band isn’t tight enough. I think I’ll have to go to an actual lingerie store or order online? For those of you with a small band and big cup, what are your favorites?
Three months post op and in love. I knew breast augmentation was something I was going to do one day but never found a doctor that made me ready to book a consultation. With Covid, I found myself with extra time to seriously consider this experience for me. I was looking out of state, in state, all over. When I found Dr.Squires I stopped looking elsewhere. I know people say you should go to multiple consultations but I didn’t feel the need. Dr. Squires online photos should be enough to show, you’re in good hands but also his education and years of practice. That alone made me feel great. After meeting, I booked same day and allowed Dr.Squires to choose the best implant for my body on surgery day between two sizes. He’s so professional and no fluff or nonsense. Highly recommend. You’ll be in great hands.
Dr. Squires is amazing at what he does. I’ve never been happier with my body. The staff are so kind and friendly, and very professional. The staff made me very comfortable and were very supportive. I had a wonderful experience with him and recommend him to everyone I know, you will be in good hands.
I highly recommend Dr Squires for any cosmetic surgery needs. Both him and his staff are so helpful and beyond knowledgeable. They all work so hard towards ensuring that your goals are met while informing you of the various options available for your individualized needs/wants and what is actually doable based on your body type. I live out of town and they made the entire process such a breeze. In regards to the recovery process, it was amazingly quick and went by so smooth. The recovery instructions were clear, however, if I had any questions or concerns, the staff was quick to help and answer any questions I had. Thank you so much to all of the staff and Dr Squires for such a great experience on top of great results!!
I knew Dr. Squires was the one after my consult, he answered all of my questions before even asking! Well experienced and definitely an artist. The whole process from start to finish was well explained. My whole experience was amazing!
My entire experience with Dr. Squires and his office staff was nothing short of a 5-star experience! They were kind, accommodating, non-judgmental and supportive from my very first appointment through all of my follow-ups. My procedure was a revision of a previous surgery and Dr. Squires was so kind, spending extra time answering all of my questions and ensuring that I felt comfortable with his approach. I couldn't be more pleased with the results!! Dr. Squires is a true gentleman and a professional--I would recommend him highly to anyone looking for an extremely experienced and talented surgeon!!
I am 3 weeks post OP for my breast augmentation and Squires and his staff has been with me ever step of the way, making me feel comfortable and addressing any concerns I have had. I am 4'11" and way terrified of going to big but with all there help I am looking and feeling amazing.
Fantastic! Would recommend him again and again to anyone looking for a reliable, double board certified, patient, kind surgeon! I am 37, have two girls (age 2 and 5) and after breast feeding both of them, my boobs were not what they used to be. I loved Dr. Squires and his staff. I also have to give a shout out to Jacqueline and Sondra who answered all my questions and were so sweet. The day of surgery I was TERRIFIED and Dr. Squires, his anesthesiologist and all his nurses made me feel a million times better. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Squires and his staff!!!!
I was never blessed in the Tata region of my body, however I have big hips and a big butt. I've always judged how fit I felt based on my stomach compared to my chest. I'm so excited to finally feel like my body is proportionate. 5 sleeps til the big day! My doctor will try on different sizes and sit me up (or as my husband says, play Weekend at Bernies with me) while I'm under to ensure the sizing is correct. I can't wait to see the results! Updated on 23 Apr 2019: Less than 24 hours until surgery and I can't decide if I'm more excited or nervous.... I'm getting my house and laundry cleaned to make the next few days easier in me and my family. Still need to go to the store to get some easy, healthy snacks and ice packs. Any suggestions of things I might need or calming words of wisdom would be welcome! Pictures will be posted as soon as I'm functional! Updated on 24 Apr 2019: Today was the day! I've read about a bunch of women being calm on surgery day.....but I was not. I woke up early to shower, hands shaking and stomach in knots. I was so nervous but everyone was so kind and did everything to make me feel more comfortable. I ended up with 560CCs high profile, under the muscle. They wheeled me into the O.R. covered me with warming blankets and then I woke up with full, fabulous breasts! The anaesthesia gave me horrible cotton mouth. I'm not really hungry, which is surprising because I get pretty hangry if I miss breakfast. But anyway... Dr. Squires was so kind, super knowledgeable, and his demeanor of confidence immediately calmed me and made me feel like I was in more than capable hands. I started as a 36 A, I have a feeling I'll be a full 36D when all is said and done. Between the leftover anesthesia and the pain meds, I'm in and out of sleep, however I was able to make an easy lunch for my kid. I've been walking around while I'm awake and using my arms a bit to try to not get too stiff. Can't wait to see them outside of the compression bra and band! I already love them and so excited for swim suit season!! Updated on 25 Apr 2019: Surgery was yesterday, everything went smooth. I'm super tight, swollen, and my back hurts from having to sleep upright. I ended up with Allergan 560cc SRF. They are riding so high right now, I'm hoping as the drop and fluff that they will look a bit bigger and more round. I usually bruise really easy, so I'm happy there isnt a ton of bruising...yet. Updated on 25 Apr 2019: Here are a few more pictures since I dont know how to add them to my last update. Definitely more full, hoping for a bit more projection as themy D&F. Ice, meds, and couch time is my life right now. Hoping to feel better by this weekend so I can enjoy a dinner date we have planned. Updated on 28 Apr 2019: I made the mistake of thinking since I was initially feeling good that I didn't need to rest, and now I'm paying for it. Today everything hurts, I'm nauseous, and exhausted. I didn't take anything to help with bruising, so the insicion sites are a little gnarly but thankfully they don't hurt, they just itch. Don't fall into the trap I did. Let your body rest and heal. On the upside, I've been massaging them everyday and they are already less firm and pointy. I have some serious side boob so the massages are helping them not look like they are running away fron eachother Updated on 7 May 2019: I'm 1 day short of 2 weeks post op and the last few weeks have flown by. I initially felt great after surgery, functioning and living life on just Tylenol. But apparently I pushed it too hard because 4 days post op I was in so much pain and just exhausted, so I took the heavier pain killers and slept all day. After that, each day has been better and the girls are softer every day. I'm doing my massages at least 3 times a day and still taking Tylenol, although that is more for my back (my body is still adjusting and I've been sleeping weird.) I also have wrist pain that I woke up with after surgery, but I've read that it usually goes away after a few weeks. I still have a bit of Frankenboob, but it looks better in real life than it does in the pictures. I'm hoping by the time the weather gets warm, they will be beautiful and ready for my bikinis! Updated on 10 May 2019: The whole staff was super helpful and so friendly. Dr. Squires took all my thoughts and opinions into consideration and ended up giving me exactly what I wanted. Deciding to go through with surgery was a big decision, and I couldn't be happier! Updated on 24 May 2019: Boob greed is a real thing! Definitely opt for the bigger size if you're deciding between 2 sizes. They quickly become your new normal and its easy to find yourself wanting more. Scars are healing well, waiting for the las few stitches to either dissolve or get pushed out, hopefully in time for pool weather. I'm still massaging 3 times a day to keep the pockets open and have found the more I do it, the softer they feel. Every once in awhile I'll get a few zingers as my nerves keep healing. I'm working my way back into the gym. No lifting or running yet, but walking on the treadmill is better than nothing. Finding bras seems like it'll be an issue. I'm about a 34 DD/DDD or 36D/DD. If anyone has recommendations for non-underwire, cute bras, let me know :D
Your body looks like it could take a relatively large implant. Correct sizing is a matter of art and science and will depend on your measurements and the exact results that you want. Larger implants can be placed without rippling are sagging if proper techniques and implants and implants are used. Find an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon to consult with.
Breast augmentation in patients with asymmetry can be a challenging problem. In my experience, you should expect significant improvement but not exact symmetry. If you have done your research well and are happy with your doctor choice, you should trust him or her.
Most conservative and well trained plastic surgeons do not do aggressive liposuction of the abdomen at the same time as tummy tuck for fear of creating major healing problems with the abdominal flap. Once the flap has had time to heal and revascularize, it is perfectly safe to then do liposuction.I generally wait at least 6 months after tummy tuck to make sure there has been enough time for healing.
Congratulations on your lifestyle changes. I think you would receive significant improvement from the procedures outlined. I would encourage you to reach your ideal weight before considering surgery. If you transfer fat before losing weight, you are likely to just lose that fat that was transferred. I recommend you consider life the section of the abdomen and flanks to obtain sufficient fat for Brazilian butt left. You would also benefit from breast augmentation and abdominoplasty. Be sure to consult a surgeon who is certified by the American Board of plastic surgery and get several opinions.
Needless to say, you do not have an ideal result from your surgery. The left implant is too high and neither breast has a good shape. I definitely think a revision would be in order. I am not a fan of the textured implants as they can all cause anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL). I would get them out and exchange them for smooth implants. If you wish to have a perkier look, you may need a lift. I would consult other board-certified plastic surgeons to get a range of opinions.
