Facelift Needed at 50! - India

Am now 29 days out of surgery, and now i felt was a good time to post an update to my procedures.

Overall i am still really thrilled with the results i have managed to achieve with the help of Dr.Karthik and Chennai Plastic Surgery. Each day i look in the mirror and can just see my face mending itself at a tremendous rate.

It would be fair to say i have focused areas of swelling in front of my ear areas, these are very hard parts of the face so i can fully understand why these swellings are taking a while to subside (am inpatient). I do feel i have had an outstanding experience with Dr.Karthik i cannot thank him and the family at Chennai Plastic Surgery enough!

After researching cosmetic surgery in and around London and Europe i became dismayed with hugely inflating prices along with the not so great European attitudes toward a service that is a very personal one for the patient. It was for this reason alone i decided to cast my net further afield and was pleasantly surprised at what i discovered. Europeans are of the view generally that they will not consider cosmetic treatment in third world countries. I believe it is for this sole reason alone that so many people are missing out on the chance of a lifetime to find services which are in fact not only realistically affordable ,compared with in my case London, but also truly awe-inspiring and professional.I had done many a google search for medical tourism and came back with mostly what would appear to be agency style businesses hunting for peoples money in return for an appointment and little information.When one is travelling to a strange country for just a holiday i feel we all crave to know as much information as we can get hold of before we travel, So the notion of travelling to a strange country, particularly a far away one, for the sole purpose of cosmetic surgery is truly a scary one at best it really is and so doing that with little information whatsoever makes you wonder in fact how some of these medical agencies stay in business!After many hours of internet frustration i decided to turn my attention to Youtube to see what i could find after all its the cutting edge of social networking these days so why not! Well what a surprise i got after just a few clicks of my keys and mouse i was presented with a link to Chennai Plastic Surgery and so decided to watch one of the videos that was being presented.I felt myself feeling particularly warmed by the guys friendly appearance and his seemingly genuine approach to peoples needs, too good to be true i thought, must be fake i thought, not in india no way i thought!After spending a few days of being a doubter my curiosity got the better of me and decided to visit the website i had seen promoting the business and found myself being drawn in further. After spending around an hour of looking over the various pages of information surrounding all the treatments on offer, and there are many, i took some time out to give the idea of travelling to the other side of the planet to have surgery completed to sink in.No way will i travel to India to have cosmetic surgery completed i thought its a stupid idea forget it! but still i have this niggling feeling in the back of my mind that this guy was just right for me and so i fired off an email asking for more information. After just a day or so i received a reply not only a very readable english one but also very polite and friendly, I was hooked, i had to meet this guy, intuition is truly wonderful thing.After a few email exchanges i was firing off emails with attached photos of my face and neck for the surgeries i believed i wanted. When i received my reply with a quote for work that would be carried out i was gobsmacked to say the least. The estimate for work was at least only 30-35% of what i would have been paying in London. It really did seem to good to be true but i still was not persuaded against it so i felt the only way to put this idea to bed was to ring this guy and get him to speak with me becauseSurely he wouldn't understand English! Surely he wouldn't be able to fulfil my needs within my timescales at his described costs! Surely i would lost in a foreign land alone having had surgery and no one to look out for me! Surely surely surely i had doubts galore!I had read all of the patient reviews on the website and could not find one negative one which is a worry in itself because it all seems to good to be true!Next stop …. Phone Call! I rang the clinic asking to speak with Dr Karthik, he came on the phone sounding just like a regular english speaking guy and so friendly! After a lengthy phone call i decided to give myself some cooling off time a couple of days, but was not long before I was firing off an email asking the surgery to give me some possible dates for procedures like Face Lift, Neck Lift, Forehead Lift and Eyelid Surgery. They in fact gave me the option to choose at my convenience when i would like the work done to see if they could accommodate me. I originally asked for the September of 2016 which was accepted initially and then changed my mind i wanted it done sooner! i need it done!So…… Here i am in India 3 days after my full facelift and various other procedures like Forehead Lift and Blepharoplasty and I can honestly say from my heart i am the happiest I have ever been in my life. My face procedures have gone amazingly well i cannot believe how healed i am so soon after surgery. My whole experience has been just amazing, not only the Doctor but his entire team take you into their hearts with real genuine concern for your health. I do not have enough pages to thank everyone personally but i cannot express my thanks enough to the entire family at Chennai Plastic Surgery!For many people the decision to travel to India for cosmetics will be a difficult one i understand this because it was for me but I am so glad i did at this point in time! whilst i still have some bruising and swelling that needs to heal altogether i feel great physically in under a week since my treatment. I had originally arranged to stay for 2 weeks so i still have lots of time left to explore what Chennai has to offer it looks like it has so much to offer and things are so cheap here its unreal!I can say from my heart to the heart of Chennai Plastic Surgery that you have changed me as a person for the better for sure and so i am so glad i followed my intuition!
