How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Chemical Peel: Anxiety Inducing, but Incredible
Overall, I enjoyed my chemical peel experience.
This was the first time I had done a more professional peel, and I wish that I had more knowledge going in. I had looked up things online, but not enough.
My provider was great in many ways, but not as specific as I would have liked regarding aftercare. There were a lot of things I didn't know that I ended up looking up online afterward and I had already done wrong. This part was extremely anxiety inducing because chemical peels can cause scarring if not properly cared for while healing.
Luckily, I was able to learn enough on my own to avoid any negative repercussions, but providers should consider providing patients a packet of information before and after each procedure that outlines best practices for each experience.
It is scary to have to look up information on you are own and get conflicting information from different online sources, when your provider should give you the specific info needed for your treatment in advance.
