A Very Poor Disappointing Result/experience.

I had a thigh lift and short scar arm lift in 2016, I then had a ‘revisional’ thigh lift procedure in 2017, all under Professor Frame, and the results were very poor to say the least. I am not disputing that he is an excellent PS in his field and achieves great results, however, if I had known he had such little experience of thigh and arm lifts I would never have gone through with the surgery.
The aftercare was poor. I was not advised on taping the wound to reduce scarring. Following my revisional thigh surgery I was not even given a follow up appointment. I was given another patient’s discharge paper, I never received mine. When I expressed my disappointment I was told I had body dysmorphia, which is simply not true, the results were dreadful and I have photos to support this statement.
I have since undergone an arm lift with another PS, and the results have been fantastic, and I have gained a lot of confidence finally. I shall also be having a thigh procedure with the same surgeon early next year.
My advice to anyone undergoing surgery is to thoroughly research your PS, ask for before & after photographs, seek the advice of other patients, Realself provides a great platform to really do your homework, sadly I didn’t, I just went by a referral from another PS who knew Professor Frame.
