Its been a little while....

So its been a little while since i updated. I am now 5 weeks PO. For the most part i feel great and ive had a pretty easy recovery. Yesterday i went to the gym for the first time since before my surgery and i also used the tanning bed. If felt so good to get back to working out!!! I think my belly may be a little more swollen from it today but thats ok, because 2 weeks ago i thought id go ahead and weigh myself and i was 211 (thats 6lbs more than before surgery and he took over 6lbs of skin off!) Today when i weighed myself i was 202! Much better! Yesterday i decided to get serious about my weight and diet and decided to start eating the paleo diet. I will upload a few new pics in a min. For the most part i am pretty happy with my results. My scar is still a bit darker than i would like but i love my bb, it looks so natural! My husband loves the fact that i actually have hips now! I never noticed them before since ive had this hanging apron of skin for 12 yrs. Thats all for now, Hope all you beautiful ladies are healing up nicely!

My doc said the drainage from my tube was normal...
My doc said the drainage from my tube was normal and that im doing well. Ill post pics from today.

Actually the suture around my drain came out, I guess anything possible after 17 days, and my drain fell out.
I think you're way too early out of the gate to have problems with your drain.
I think you will be fine until you see the MD today!. Make sure the tubing isn't kinked anywhere.
Hope all goes well at your appt today!
And by the way, your results already are amazing!

Thank you! I see him at 11:30 so hopefully they cooperate while I get dressed and get there. Thank u for the compliment, its kinda hard to hear because I never got them. Im just really hoping the results under the binder look just as good! :-)

I thought I almost pulled one drain out because I caught it on something and I seen a little white cap come partly out.. I panicked, pushed it back in..When I got the drain pulled, it ran all the way up to my breasts.. Yikes! So yea, there was no way that was falling out..I also had stitches around the drains to keep them in. My PS had me cut a slit in a gauze pad and then put that around the drain, works great! I wouldn't worry about it falling out.. :) Glad you are going in today to get it checked out! Happy healing!

Ok thank you. It hasnt been pulled on and I told my husband it shouldnt be able to just fall out that easy. So thanks for reassuring me!

Thank You SO much! It's hard to take a compliment because im not used to hearing it, but this has been the best decision i have ever made for myself! I already feel 100x better. I cant wait for the swelling to go away. I look forward to seeing your new pics and journey! good luck sweetie!

I made it to the flat side! So far its not too...
I made it to the flat side! So far its not too bad, I just keeo on my pain meds. My doctor did not use lipo yet he removed 6lbs of skin! I had my hubby take a pic, not great but ill post better ones tomorrow. Going to nap a bit. Good Luck ladies with all your healin!
