WORTH IT$13,000
I'm 43 years old. Everyone tells me I look so much younger. I've taken care of my skin over the years. I eat healthy, don't smoke, rarely drink and work out (not as much as I should). My only child is 21. She was over 10 pounds at birth - I was asked repeatedly if I was carrying twins. My stomach never recovered from my pregnancy. I lost the weight right away. I have since gained and lost over the years. I've always wanted to have a tummy tuck to at least have it resemble what I remember myself looking like. I finally have done it!!!

I was so nervous for surgery. I didn't know exactly what to expect afterwards since what I've seen with plus size girls varies so much in the outcome! But they made me feel so at ease. It was all a blur. The recovery for the first few days was no joke. I felt no pain from the incision but the liposuction...wow.

Things I bought to prepare
mmmrooMay 12, 2017
I looked at other people's lists on here and here's what I got (and had to get more of).
Arnica gel & tablets
Bromelain (pineapple extract)
Chux (I went through about 30 or 40 of these with the liposuction leakage)
Abdominal pads (lots of these - padding for incision - they flatten out and bunch up)
Bacitracin - I bought a big box of the individual packets
Probiotics
Tylenol
Antibacterial bar soap
Shower stool - omg I wouldn't have survived the first bath without it.
Stool softener
Milk of magnesia
Button front nightgowns
Soups, jello, popsicles for the first few days
Wedge pillow
Things I had:
A recliner - slept in it a lot because the twist to get in the bed is a little much.
Lots and lots of pillows. I had them everywhere!!
My Granny's walker. Didn't use it much.
Netflix
My garment I was sent home from surgery in was a marena. It was comfortable. I ordered my stage 2 direct from the company and it was much cheaper than Amazon. And they overnighted them for $14. I'm getting smaller and will soon order another from them another size down. These are very easy to get on and are crotchless and easy to potty through without dealing with flaps or snaps.
If I can answer anyone's questions, ask. I learned a lot from other ladies on this site and I'm happy to help.
