2 yrs ago I had abdominoplasty, breast augmentation and a breast lift. In Feb I am going back to have my implants switched out for bigger ones, a mons pubis reduction and lipo to the flanks. I'm hoping my recovery is short and not too painful, as I have to return to work as a EMT 8 days later! :-)

Good luck. It does seem a little quick for going back to work. I would try for another week.

Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about time off. 8 days is the longest I can get off.

Liposuction and bigger implants
On Monday March 2nd I had surgery for a third time. I had my cohesive gel implants switched out with bigger saline implants. I also had a mons pubis reduction and lift and liposuction of the flanks. I was supposed to have surgery on Thursday, Feb 26th but we had a big snow storm that night and i got cancelled. My doctor was going on vacation and they told me the earliest they could reschedule me for was almost 4 weeks later. I was not very happy about this so i made an appointment for the next Monday with a different Doctor from the same practice. Needless to say I am VERY happy it happened this way. This Doctor did better than i ever thought possible. Because of having tubular shaped breasts the first time around, I had a large thick scar under my breasts. Also, when i would flex my implant looked like it would get distorted under my chest and change the shape of my breast (kinda hard to explain this) I just figured it was because i had tubular shaped breast before the surgery. I hated this but tried to ignore it. Dr Kennedy, the one i seen this last time, fixed my scars and made them skinnier and fixed the implant so it would not distort in my chest. I went from a 515 cc implant on the right to 875 cc saline, and the left was a 616 cc implant and I went up to 950 cc. I love them now! I also had a Mons pubis reduction and lift, along with liposuction on the flanks. The lipo pain is no joke. today is POD 3 and I am so swollen and sore. The worst part is having all the swelling, I feel bigger now than i did before the surgery. I know this is all temporary but i hate swelling! Anyone else have liposuction and can tell me a little about the recovery process would be great!
