So this is my last and final update on my lipo procedure. Overall I'm very pleased with the results and I've had a wonderful summer. My recovery, I feel, is complete. I'm no longer numb in any of the areas and for the most part everything looks great. The only area that will require more work is the bottom of my stomach. I'm going in sometime in December for a mini tummy tuck, to get rid of the loose skin at the bottom of my stomach. We knew going in, that this might happen, but I'm still happy with the decision to try this first before the TT.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience, tips, supplies used, and photos! It really helps make me feel more informed and prepared for what’s coming when I have my own liposuction surgery in March 2019.

3 Month Post Op Update

danisurf124
So I'm officially 3 months post op. Some updates for you all:

-The numb feeling is pretty much gone now
-I'll occasionally get sore after a hard workout or doing something physically strenuous
-My back continues to tighten up but my lower stomach isn't

All that said, I'm still 100% please with my results. The only issue I'm having, and we knew this might happen (my surgeon was fully transparent about it), is that my lower stomach is a little saggy and uneven (really only when I'm bending over). Dr. Franks told me that this may happen, but there is really no way to tell until you have it done. He brought up a tummy tuck from the start, but I wanted to try the lipo first before doing something that invasive. After my last visit with him, we decided a mini tummy tuck.

I will go in a few weeks for a full consult on it, and I'll get it schedule for some time in late December. I want to enjoy the summer before another surgery. I'll keep you posted. Here are some update pics! I include one of my tummy when I bend forward. My back is perfect though...so happy with that!

10 Week Update

I've been doing great lately. Love the way my clothes fit & i just feel more confident overall. This was the best decision ever. I do have a little loose skin at the bottom of my stomach, but we knew this might happen, since i didn't opt for a tummy tuck. I still get sore from time to time, but it's not bad.
