Nothing was as described in the advertisements! ...

Nothing was as described in the advertisements! You did not get to consult with the doctor until after you had committed to the surgery and signed a contract for payment for $ 9,500 on credit care card (medical). If you changed your mind, you still had to pay for the procedure. The surgery was horrific! They sit you in a chair, gave you a sedative (didn’t knock you out) and within an hour began cutting and using a laser. You could hear and sometimes feel the cutting and laser! It reminded me of a horror film in a torture chamber! One nurse asked another nurse if she had sterilized the instruments because they were dirty during my surgery!!! I said are they clean during my surgery and the doctor told them to be careful what was said because I knew everything they were saying during the surgery!! After the surgery, my entire face was wrapped ) looked like a mummy. On the way to the hotel threw up, very sick all night and couldn’t see to locate the bathroom in our room. My husband was afraid to go to sleep, he thought that I wouldn’t make it through the night! Had issues after I got home, my scalp got infected and they had told me if I had problems to go to the ER. The ER wouldn’t help me and suggested I return to the initial doctor in Charlotte NC...DR. Diaz. He would always tell me to drive back up there and make me wait for 1-2 hours and then say it looked fine. I did persuade the ER to write my a prescription for antibiotics for the infection. Dr. Diaz always acted like it was something I did...never anything he did. I had to wear Vaseline in my hair for sometime trying to get my scalp healed. Had to purchase wigs to wear to work because I couldn’t get the nasty Vaseline out of my hair for months! The whole procedure was a nightmare and they couldn’t care less! They called almost everyday prior to the procedure to tell me how excited they were for me! Afterward, didn’t hear from LifestyleLift. I felt the whole place was a scam and all they wanted was your money! I paid way too much for the results I got and now I have lines all around my lips... can’t tell I had anything done. The laser may have helped the acne scars some. They were supposed to fix my eyes....didn’t work at all! If only I had known beforehand, I would have checked locally! I’m sure I would have gotten much better post procedure care!

He was very arrogant and wasn’t concerned about the patient follow up at all! He would state what have you done that created a particular problem?! Strange thing, I always followed the directions perfectly! He was talking during the surgery to the nurses that a patient had canceled prior to my surgery but he didn’t care because he still got paid! It was obvious to me know that the patient wasn’t his main concern. There was a newspaper article later on that mentioned one of his patient’s died during her surgery from complications in 2013!
