I Feel 10 Years Younger with my Blepharoplasty Surgery

I am so happy I made the decision to fix my droopy eyelids. I was tired of hearing "You look tired" "Did you get some sleep last night" "Are you ok" I'm 54 years old with great looking skin, but had such drooping eyelids that made me tired and put 15 years on my face. I used so much dark eyeshadow to draw my eyes upward and give myself a lid. I tried everything from purchasing facial massagers, and expensive products for years that promised eyelid fix. I spent weeks doing research and finally knew than it was time to contact Dr. Capizzi's office to set the appointment. The moment I stepped into their new Charlotte location office, and was greeted by his incredibly professional staff, I was hooked. I was so impressed by Dr. Capizzi and my first consultation with him. He took the time to listen to me and what was bothering me about my eyes and learn a little bit about me. He took the time to show me what the procedure. Never rushed me, and took his time. He wanted me to feel confident about it. I was so excited, but never scared. I knew I was in good hands. The day of the procedure, I was a little nervous, but not one time scared. His staff and his assistant Marty made me feel comfortable completely. I had the local anesthesia done and did not feel anything. I was impressed how relaxed I was during the procedure, and I had great conversation with Marty and Dr. Capizzi. They were so professional and experienced with this procedure. I was in good hands. As soon as I was taken out of the surgery room, I remember how open my eyes felt. They sat me down and gave me a mirror. Even though my eyes were just out of surgery, I remember how beautiful they looked. I could tell the improvement immediately and wanted to cry. It was like someone just pulled the blinds off my eyes and I could see. All the way home I kept looking at my eyes and was so happy. The weeks that followed I was so happy with my eyes and the healing progress. Each day I look at them in the mirror. Its been around 4 weeks and I have not put any makeup on my eyes. I don't even think I'll need makeup again. One thing I do know was I need this and you do not have to live with this or hear others say you should just grow older gracefully. NO! If you do not like something, take the time and learn about the treatments and don't hesitate to go in for a consultation with a professional Plastic Surgeon.
