Drove 2 Hours, Was Entirely Worth It!

It is difficult to explain all the ways Dr. Augenstein and his team with Aesthetic Surgery of Charlotte exceeded all expectations. The results, for one, are simply incredible. I had a breast lift, silicone implants (I'm now a small C) and liposuction in multiple areas (stomach, flanks, etc. ) 5 weeks ago today and could not be happier with the outcome or experience! Based on the suggestion of a friend, Dr. Augenstein was my third consult and I knew immediately I had finally found the right doctor. He had not only the technical expertise to do a great job based on his background and Board certifications, but as important, he really listened and discussed the nuanced decisions based on my body and goals that could create the best possible outcome. He was also realistic and extremely straightforward. From the minute I walked in, the entire staff along with Dr. Augenstein made me feel very much at ease and were truly accessible throughout this entire process for any questions or concerns. I never waited more than 5 minutes on a return answer to any questions, even post-op. I have been a runner for decades and stay close to my goal weight, but always had areas that were out of proportion with the rest of my body and made me feel and appear heavier than I was. I had also breastfed my children, and my breasts were very asymmetrical, something that made me self-conscious and dictated what kind of clothes I selected to hide the problems. Now at 49, and with three grown children, I actually have the best shape of my entire life. Even at 5 weeks out, my clothes finally fit right, and my body is at long last proportional! Moving forward, I can enjoy a healthy lifestyle but not be self-conscious about problem areas and keep trying hide the places I don't like with baggy clothes. He absolutely sculpted the shape of my body to the best possible outcome, much even better than what I could have imagined - the best possible version of myself. So, a huge Thank You to Dr. Augenstein and the entire staff at Aesthetic Surgery of Charlotte. If there was a way to give him and his practice 10 stars instead of 5, I would. This was the absolute best decision for me with the right doctor and team. They have been amazing with all my concerns, taking time to answer questions along the way, and so the personal care you receive is outstanding. Even though he was further away than I had planned (almost 2 hours) it was more than worth it. Could not have had a better experience or outcome. If you want the combination of an outstanding doctor with an artistic eye for creating incredible, personal outcomes based on your unique body, a compassionate and caring staff, and just an overall fantastic experience, I would strongly recommend you consider Dr. Augenstein!
