Whew! What a roller coaster of emotions! Here is an update.
Day 3 I felt really good and decided to stop my pain meds. Still no bowel movements so I took 1 dose of dulcolax. No luck. Bloating and constipation is no bueno!
Day 4&5 I did a lot around the house. Big mistake! So by the end of Day 6 (worst day for me between emotions and rebound pain) I was hurting bad enough to go back to pain meds. I also started freaking out that I may have gone too large and began scouring this site for photos of people with similar stats and their results. This site has been so helpful when I've wondered if what I've been experiencing is normal or not.
Day 7 Ooh yeah! Did I mention constipation yet! Those pain meds have me so backed up! Ha ha! I've taken various doses of dulcolax. 1,2, even the max dose of 3 without luck. It did help me pass gas which has decreased some of the bloated look I've been sporting. My husband freaked when he found out I had been posting pics on here, hence having to take them down. Sorry! I was viewing this as a tool for others to use to educate them on what the process is like, expected results, etc. But once he showed me how easy it was to Google certain facts about me, despite not using my real name or my face in photos, and still able to find the pictures, I became nervous too.
Day 8 slightly better range of motion and more decrease in amount of pain. So only using pain meds and muscle relaxers for sleep. Emotions calming some about the size. I went back to work which entails a lot of driving. I was sore by the end of the day and driving was interesting considering I couldn't move my arms through full motions. You have to do a bunch of little movements for turning.
Day 9, today. I feel like I've suddenly turned a corner! I feel so much better! Much easier range of motion and significantly less pain. I also woke up and for the first time looked in the mirror and am genuinely liking my new look! I think since I can move more freely and am not in pain they feel more like a part of me and I can finally actually appreciate them. Funny, I even entertained the idea of maybe I could have gone slightly bigger. Ha ha!! I am sooo excited to see how they will look in months to come.
P.S.- I'm going to try and talk to the hubby about reposting pics for point of reference for y'all.

Post op day 2
Some swelling, minimal bruising, but super bloated. Overall feeling really good!
I had my post op follow up and everything is looking good so far! My left side is settling some already. Starting gentle side to side massages today and I'm cleared to start showering! Whoo hoo!!

Hello, PettieMe_mom_of_5 looks great. He can lay them hands on those breast because he did my BR last year and want to go back for a tummy tuck but still thinking about when because of my two smaller ones which are 2&4 and a mother of 5 I need my sexy back for me. They look great once again and wish you successful healing. Thanks for sharing and photos.
