Swell hell and other things....

Well recovery has been rough! Im such a big baby and I have the lowest pain tolerance ever. I definitely underestimated liposuction recovery. However, I am getting through! I am swelling a lot!! At my post op my doctor was shocked to see how swollen i was. Still I am happy with my results. My shape looks a lot more feminine. I can just imagine how good I will looks once the swelling is completely over in 4-6 months. I also exprienced faja burns due to my swelling being so bad. I advise you to wear a cotton shirt under your faja to avoid the abraisons! They are healing nicely and pigment is coming back to the areas. I just wish I knew of garment burns before this process. Hubby's been a great help around the house. Thats a blessing! Ladies, if you're anything like me, you are not going to want to do ANYTHING for the first 3 weeks following the procedure. Everything just feels so strange. Cant wait till all the discomfort is over and I see final results.

Day 2

Day 2 was definitely rough. Lots of back pain. But bearable. Had my followup today. The PA reassured me it should ease up in the next 2 days. All in all Im still happy with the results. Definitely worth the pain so far!

Dr. Brian Widenhouse was amazing! Not only is he informative and delivers great bedside manner, but he is also well experienced. His entire staff was extremely kind and welcoming. April, his PA has the cutest personality and is quite knowledgeable. They were there to answer all my questions. I love the fact that I got to meet everyone involved with the surgery before my procedure. If I consider any more work in the future, Im going back to Widenhouse!
