27 Years Old, No Kids, Abdominal Lipo - Charleston, SC

Hey real selfies!!! Had my consult with Brian Widenhouse,MD last month now my procedure is 2 days away!! I opted for lipo of my abs and waist. The Consult went great. The Dr. And his PA were very informative. Cant believe it's approaching so soon. Got all my necessities and I'm ready to bear the pain! Haha! I was given a preop teaching and all of my prescriptions 2 weeks before the procedure. I Started taking my Arnica and Bromelain as advised to help with swelling after the procedure. Pretty smooth tranaction so far. Cant wait to get this tummy on flat flat!

Today was surgery day! So far I am happy with my results! Ill post more pics once im not discharging fluid all over the place!! Lol The fluid discharge is like shark week! I must say it went so much more smoothly than expected. Not that I doubted Dr. Widenhouse for a minute, but it was my first surgery. Needless to say, I expected the worse. Dr. Widenhouse's Nurse came in to the patient room to brief me on a few after care instructions and the anesthesiologist followed to answer any questions. Then Dr. Widenhouse came in to mark me up. After that, I was guided to the OR where the magic happened. The most painful part was the administration of the sedation fluid. Its just a few seconds of a burning sensation. I was under in a matter of seconds. When I woke up, I was stiff but still able to perform basic tasks. I came home around 12:30 pm, ate some potato salad and fruit, popped a pain pill, and took a nap. I've been back and forth between walking around the house and laying down since I got back home. I feel great! On a scale of 1-10, I give the pain a 5 and its only during transitions such as getting out/in the bed, going from standing to sitting, etc. So excited to see final results!
