I called for 2 weeks straight to get a consultation and surgery before the new year ended. There weren’t any available appointments. I called at 8a on 12/26/17 and talked to Peggy. She was the most sweetest lady. I told her, I needed to have surgery and be able to have my post-op appt before my husband left to go overseas on 1/3/18. He wouldn’t be back in the states til June 2018. She told me I could come in the same day and possible have surgery on 12/29/17 after making a few phone calls. I jumped on the opportunity even though it was a last minute appointment a 3.25 hours drive.
My expectations is very high. My goal is to achieved a flatter stomach by doing a tummy tuck. I lost a lots of excessive weight loss. I have excessive skin after losing almost 123 lbs. No matter how much I work out, the stomach/kangaroo pouch seems to not want to go anyway. I am finally on my 3 years with a steady weight.

Day of treatment
Surgery Day for Tummy Tuck
I came to Charleston on 12/28/17 (yesterday) so I can relax and in case they wanted to up tell me to come in earlier than my surgery time. I went out to eat with family and went bowling to try to calm my nerves. I had a ball beating my husband and Son in bowling. Nigel Good Food is a great place to eat. I came back to the room and shower with my “Relax” candle from Bath and Body Work. Make sure you shower with an antibacterial soap. I also showered with hiblicen soap. Then I latter some on my stomach area to let dry. Before showering, I took picture of my hideous stomach for one last time. I been tossing and turning because I can sleep. I am so ready to be on the other side of my tummy tuck journey. However it’s still early. My surgery time isn’t til 3p.

After Tummy Tuck
I am day 1 Post- op. I am not in pain (I been keeping up on taking my pain meds). My upper back is sore. I guess from being hump over a little bit. The 3 hrs ride home was better than I thought it was going to be. I am great, I finally went through the survey. The doctor called me last night, which made me feel great about him.

I was the same way. Just keep yourself busy til surgery time. After surgery, rest and relax
Yesterday, I made sure I had soups, protein drinks, fresh fruit and veggies, baby wipes, stool softener, laxative, surgical pads, tape, antibacterial soap, sport bras, granny panties, pajamas, robe, a wedge pillow loose clothing, and swelling and bruising medications. I also made sure my house was clean. I went to nail shop and had gel polish removed.
