Changed my Life - World Class Revision Rhinoplasty Surgeon
I came from Atlanta to consult and ultimately have my revision rhinoplasty with Dr Bared. I am a 22 year old male.
I had a previous rhinoplasty a few years ago and had been left with a nose that didn't fit my face, with way too much cartilage removed, crookedness, a pinched and collapsed looking nose, and my septum remained very deviated.
I immediately felt comfortable with Dr Bared's surgical recommendations, and was impressed with both his credentials and fellowship, in addition to the fact that he performs hundreds of primary and revision rhinoplasties a year. He is a very modest and down to earth surgeon and was very honest on what I could expect from a revision.
My surgery went better than I could have ever expected. It required the use of rib cartilage. My recovery was AMAZING. I spent the first week with a splint eating normally, doing computer work, resting in bed, and feeling fine expecting for my nose being swollen. I had zero pain in my nose and the location he took rib cartilage was a little sore but no pain at all.
When my splint was removed, my nose was a bit swollen but I knew Dr Bared had done exactly what I had asked, and had returned my collapsed nose into a symmetrical and fuller version of itself. It looked amazing and natural. I returned to going outside and to school/work on Day 10. After two weeks I was able to return to social functions and feel and look like a better version of myself. I was truly amazed at how quick the recovery went once I reached week 2. I was very worried about swelling, and while it is a big factor in a revision rhinoplasty, especially with rib cartilage, by the 2nd week it really starts to go down all my concerns were unfounded. Over the next year, I'm looking forward to seeing it continue to improve.
As anyone considering revision rhinoplasty knows, going through this a second time is a very stressful experience and a very big deal. I was nervous the entire time leading up to the surgery and obviously doubting yourself is a big factor. I urge anyone considering taking this step to go see Dr. Bared. I am now approaching the 1 month post op from my operation and I feel like my life has changed. I no longer am walking around with a nose that is collapsed and pinched, and feel like my true self again.
I also must mention that the entire office is extremely amazing and Dr. Bared's team is top notch. Danielle and Cindy were there for me every step before and after my surgery and truly are the best at what they do. Once again, anyone reading this should go see Dr. Bared. It's amazing what he has accomplished in his career so far and I know one day he is going to likely be one of the most renowned revision rhinoplasty surgeons in the world.
