WORTH IT$9,000
Had upper and lower eyelids done, and a midface lift. I have some pain and numbness on my upper cheekbones a month after surgery, but the overall result is positive. Still slightly swollen and bruised, so I'm not sure what the final result will be, Dr. Says to allow 8 weeks. But so far, I'm pleased.

Thank you, I'm sure when I'm completely healed it will be fine. I have a dr appointment on Weds., I'll update then.

I think you look fantastic. Good luck tomorrow at your appointment. I'm at 5 weeks now and still see differences daily, another month should make even more improvement for us.

Okay, went to Dr. today. He said all is well, still a little swelling and bruising, but at 5 1/2 weeks post op, I'm doing fine. Midface is still swollen and a little sore towards the outer ends of my eyes above my cheekbones. The midface lift was fastened to my temples, so thats the reason for that. Otherwise I'm doing fine, waiting for time to pass...
However--- at least my face is getting better with time. Not the other way that it was going before. Maybe I'll put on some makeup and surprise everyone with a good picture. I've put my most recent as my profile picture.

You look absolute amazing! How did you decide on a mid face lift?

My cheeks were heading south, thought I'd save money and get both done at once, and I need to lose some weight first, but then I may do the lower face and neck. The upper half of my face is improved and as a result, to me anyway, the lower half is looking more droopy.

Thank you. Still swollen beneath the right eye. Worse in the morning. I can't wait for the day I wake up and everything is normal. But thanks again for the compliments.

I'm the same, swelling under one eye, we'll get there, its hard being patient though lol.

Thanks, but truthfully... I knew it was what I wanted, I researched my doctor on line and with others, and did it. I was nervous, because I cannot go under using gas, so had to have an anesthesiologist that would use other methods. But really I was very confident in my decision.

I was similar in that I knew I had to do this as well - I'm on day 4 (after uppers and lowers) with stitches out tomorrow - eyes are still aching and itching a bit - hoping they look ok tomorrow as they seem a bit tight at the outer corners at the moment - fingers crossed. I had general anaesthetic which I'd never had before but it was all fine in that respect thankfully (though I woke up talking nonsense! LoL)

The itching and pulling are normal. It'll pass, along with a million other weird symptoms that will come and go. Numbness, dry eye, yellowing even seeming a tad uneven. Time is the only cure. And when you are waiting, time is the hardest part.

Have you covered all your bases? Checked out your doctor and his practice? Know what to do before and after? What to expect after? Do you want to improve your appearance? Then no anxiousness! Stay healthy and positive. If the doctor is good and you're good, it will be fine! Tell them to call you if there's a cancellation:-)
