I am a 49 year old female who lost over 60lbs through diet (1200 calorie diet) and drinking 2-3 fit sticks per day. The rapid weight loss has left me with a lot of loose skin. I have had previous C-Section and Hysterectomy which left me with an upside down T scars. I had consultations with two different Plastic Surgeons and ultimately decided on Dr. Ledinh to perform the surgery. Dr. Ledinh explained the traditional tummy tuck as apposed to Fleur De Lis. He listened to all of my concerns and answered my many questions. I am nervous but also excited at the same time. Surgery is in 6 days! I will try to post regularly with photos.

Why the Fleur De Lis rather than a regular TT? Just wondering because your before pics do not look like you would need that procedure? I am scheduled for a TT on June 22 and my PS said she thinks she might can get me good results with a regular TT put if not she will do the Fleur De Lis.

Hello, I wanted to make sure I kept my hourglass shape. He felt I would get a much better result doing Fleur De Lis instead of standard tt. I had upside down T scar already from c section and hysterectomy. I had a lot of loose skin so it helped pull from my back and also pulled from my hooch and legs to give a little lift there as well. I am so thankful that I went that route. I see some reviews and think why didn't that person have Fleur instead of reg tt. They would have gotten a much better result. I rocked a bikini on Memorial Day scars an all. My ps also repaired my abdominal wall super tight. And I love my belly button. Hope that helps?!?! If you started a review I will follow your progress.

I am 1 day post op, still in the hospital. I expect to go home today after lunch. My pain has been manageable not getting above 5. Took my first walk and it went pretty well just can't stand tall because of the muscle repair. I have 2 drains in which are only draining around 20 in 24 hours. My Foley catheter was taken out early this morning. Hopefully I will be able to post a pic tomorrow.

3 Days Post Op

I am 3 days post op. The pain is very tolerable coming in at 3-5 on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being worst. I have been sleeping a lot. Taking extra strength Tylenol during the day for pain and Percocet at night. My fevers been spiking to 101.0 but not higher. Output from JP drains have been around 20 in left and 10 in the right. Finally took a shower which always makes you feel better. Suggestions for those preparing for surgery, make sure you have Tylenol, non stick gauze, self adhesive coherent wrap tape, colace and lipofoam (you can order online from Amazon). My power recliner and power bed has been my saving grace, makes it so much easier to get in and out of bed, no assistance needed. Couple pics, still cannot stand upright.
