WORTH IT
This site has been such a huge help in getting ready for my upcoming surgery! I'm 33, 5'11 and about 150lbs. After nursing my twins I have been left with non existent breasts. I used to be a perky A cup, but now I barely fill out an A cup bra. I will be a getting Mentor silicone HP 450cc. I'm very nervous about the recovery, and I hope I fall somewhere in between those of you who have had an easy recovery or a more difficult one.

So many reviews I had before my BA said that the hardest day was 2,3, or 4 post op. My hardest day was day 1, right after surgery. when I woke up I was surprised by how much pain I was in, but I didn't know how to move around and avoid using my chest muscles yet. Fortunately, every day after that got easier. Good luck!!

Just had my surgery with him yesterday and recovering nicely. In a good bit of pain post op yesterday but nothing that can't be handled with the appropriate meds. Love my results so far!

Thats great to hear you are recovering well! I'm so nervous about the amount of pain I'll be in when I wake up from anesthesia :/
April 17, 2015
There really wasn't much pain when you wake up. I got a lift as well so I may have had a bit more discomfort. I was told to get something to eat before I took my pain pills and Valium. Stopped and grabbed food on the way home and took the pills then. Felt good by the time I was home!

I hope the recovery continues to go well! Keep us posted!

BTW I went with 500cc silicone. That was equal to 2 cups of rice for the "rice test"

Will do! Didn't mean to reply twice. I commented last night and when I logged on this am didn't think it went through.

Things just got real!

LJ221
Only 4 days to go! Nerves are starting to set in. I got the call today to be at the surgery center at 1PM. I kinda wish it was early in the morning so I wouldn't have to be hungry and anxious all morning. I waver between being excited, so being super nervous, to wondering why the heck I'm even doing this. Hopefully that's all normal and part of the process. I ordered a bathing suit a few weeks ago and it finally came in yesterday, I tried it on and it fits awesome everywhere except the boobs, so I can't wait to try it on post surgery to see how I fill it out then :) I just have to focus on the end result! I have to tell myself I can do this! I survived a twin c-section so this can't be much harder than that...

April 23, 2015
You girls will do great! Don't forget to bring your meds with you. You take the Zofran and a Valium before surgery so by the time you walk into the room for surgery, the Valium has kicked in and all is good! Next thing you know you wake up with nice boobs lol!
April 23, 2015
Good luck! We have the same surgery time just on different days ;) I'm sure you will do great! Please come back and update if you are up for it! :)
April 23, 2015
Thanks lisamarbar! Good tips on taking the zofran and valium first!
April 24, 2015

April 24, 2015
I'm 23 days post op (Philadelphia area) and it was worth it!! Be prepared to take it easy for a few days, take the meds and follow the post op instructions and you'll be great! Best of luck!

Pain Pumps?

LJ221
Has anyone gotten a pain pump with your breast augmentation? My PS routinely does them with BA, but I'm wondering how much of a difference it actually makes. My BA is on Tuesday and nerves have taken over! :/
