25 Yrs Old, Two Kids, 25lbs Lost, Ready for This!

I am 25 years old and have 2 kids, ages 2 & 3. I met with 3 different surgeons in my area. All of which told me that being at my goal weight is better before I get the surgery done so I committed myself to losing 30lbs before surgery. I have lost a total of 25 and have a month left to go before my surgery date. I'm not sure I can lose 5lbs in a month but I'm gonna try! I decided to go with Dr. Viscardi from Centre PC in South Bend. One of the key reasons why I chose him is because he was blunt and didn't try to whisper sweet nothing's in my ear like trying to tell me everything will be great. He told me the struggles, the mind will play tricks, how I'll most likely get depressed during the healing process but that's what I wanted to hear. An honest Dr. giving it to me straight. Also, they have a great setup to where each patient gets a patient advocate. Mine is Chris and she is amazing. I can call her anytime (even her personal number) and she will be my advocate to answer my questions instead of the receptionist handling all the cases, Chris will personally know my case. I thought that was pretty awesome. I'm excited and nervous and scared and anxious! 1 more month. The thing I'm scared of most is: complications after surgery.
