Janet was great! Professional, patient and understanding. She pampered me when I became faint after it was all over and made sure I was totally OK before leaving.

Looks really good. Did it hurt? How long should last?

The average is about one year...more or less. I like that because even though I felt the topical anesthetic was very effective, it stung pretty good. And $400 a year isn't bad. This was my first ever filler appointment so hopefully I won't be so stressed next time. I mentioned going in that I was more anxious about this appointment than I was for the surgeries! I got a little faint after it was all over. Maybe I should think about a Valium before the next time! I'm 3 days out and I haven't seen any Botox results in the eyebrows yet. Might be another week before I see it.

Hi Mickie,
I've been avoiding fillers because it's such a slippery (and expensive!) slope. I think the results of the Volbella are fabulous. I'm really interested to follow you to see how long it lasts. $400 for a year is reasonable. Sorry you were so nervous and hope you're doing great! :)

Thank you so much!
I just left my appointment. Everything went well. Had Botox and Sculptra. Was told I will need two more Sculptra visits (all 6 weeks apart) before my full result will be realized. Trying to be patient, but it looks like this will be a process.

Where was Sculptra injected?
User Avatar
May 12, 2017
Sculptra was injected in my temples, cheeks,
Jaw line and deep lines on either side of my mouth. I'm a little bruised and sore even though I took bruise guard tablets prior.

How long does it last? My fat transfer was disappointing.

Suppose to last 2 years,... after 3 treatments. Actually regenerates your own collagen so it takes weeks to see results.

Awesome!!

Not sure if you still check comments but here goes . Did you have one syringe ? Also did they change in the first week or were the results immediate?
User Avatar
May 11, 2017
Yes...1 full syringe. Results were immediate and I'm still happy. The creases are very slight compared to the original.

I just had mine today. Will they improve or is this the final result. Wasn't sure what to expect. Thank you for your time
May 11, 2017
By the way. They look great :)

Mine stayed pretty much the same after injection. I have a friend that said she felt like Marge Simpson for a few days. I'm hoping for the one year estimate.

Thanks so much!

I had this done yesterday, but the area around my lips are full of little bruises. My husband thinks that I look like a chimney sweep. Oh well, I hope I get the same great results you've had once the swelling and bruises go away.

Would love to see a review and photos from you! How much did you get injected? I'm 5 months out from original injection and still happy with the smoothing of "smokers" lines. I'm thinking of adding some Volbella for a little added fullness at 6 months when I go in for forehead Botox. I'll talk it over with Janet and decide then. I hope you're happy!

I am considering Volbella & appreciate your post. Thank You!

I'll continue to update. Note that I was just looking to decrease the really deep "smokers lines" and was not looking for fuller lips. I will go back later if I want to add fullness. So far, 2 days out, I'm impressed! I should have given more background on myself in this review. Unless you followed my other review, you might not know I'm 65, had pretty much the full face menu PS 11/2/16 with Brow Lift and fat transfer revisions on 3/23/17. Volbella was suggested from the beginning as my PS doesn't suggest fat transfer to lips, just around the mouth. It was $400 for one full vial. Janet is a pro!

Exactly all I am looking for too. Thank You for responding.
I am 64 and never smoked, but it looks as though I did. Planning to do this when I get my Tax Refund.

YAY! I still have faint lines but so much better than the deep crevasses before Volbella!! I really hope it lasts a year as promoted.
